Chaiebel
Hey there, I couldn't find a Modding forum for mass effect so I figured this is the best place to post it. If it needs to be moved, please do so! I just wanted to know if there was a mod, and if not, request one, that changes the Normandy's Teammates' clothing whilst on the Normandy to regular civilian clothing. I highly doubt Garrus would want to be in the same armor all the time. Obviously, there would be an exception in Tali, but it would be nice to put her into a regular suit that isn't as armored as the one she wears. But with regular NPCs in species specific clothing all around, I can't see how it would be hard to change Teammates clothing while on the Normandy specifically. (I don't mod, so I can't say that I'd know) I don't know if it's annoyed everyone else, but it always has for me. Furthermore, it would be great to see this for all three games, as I consider if a problem in all of them. So, is this possible? In any event, thank you for reading!! -Chaie
brokenergy
There aren't any modders here that do ME mods because ME has no official tool kit from BioWare. You are better off asking another modding site that does it or ask the BSN projects forum. http://social.bioware.com/browse_bw_projects.php
hoofhearted4
Actually there's a Nexus for each of the three Mass Effects. Idk when we got those but there's a Nexus for like 50 games now. Some I've never even heard of or wouldn't expect to see like Madden 08.
Weak1ings
Does UDK allow you to create maps for ME since it's all UE3? All you'd have to do is load Mass effect files in. Right?
Vindekarr
Most of the new Nexii(Nexes? Nexuses?) only have 1-3 files though. They're not exactly huge.

The user's best bet of having his/her request heard is by going to BSN projects or some other modding community because there are more people there that are willing to help. hoofhearted4
So what are all those forums? Just about the game itself? I only saw them when I wasn't logged in. Now that I am, they aren't in the list anymore.
Fistandilius
I thought EA didn't like modding of Mass Effect? http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/637723-careful-modding-mass-effect-3-gets-you-banned-from-origin/?hl=%20bioware Edited January 4, 2014 by Fistandilius
brokenergy
I thought EA didn't like modding of Mass Effect? http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/637723-careful-modding-mass-effect-3-gets-you-banned-from-origin/?hl=%20bioware EA (or any developer for that matter) doesn't generally allow modding on competative multiplayer or MMO or anything that might cause an unfair advantage to the user in comparison to other players (see dungeon siege broken multiplayer). That said, they aren't going to go after you for modding single player if that is what you are fearing. They just write that to point out that they have no responsibility for a game that you mod a game when it has no official modding tools. It also worth pointing out that BioWare has only released a tool set twice in it's 16 years existance and that didn't stop people from modding Kotor or BG to death. So what are all those forums? Just about the game itself? I only saw them when I wasn't logged in. Now that I am, they aren't in the list anymore. BSN is going a massive over hall later this year. Polls, lists and blogs are gone into read-only format (meaning that they are there but you can only read it) but projects remain and they are adding a new website soon. hoofhearted4
I meant on the Nexus. I saw a bunch of forums for tons of games. Now that I'm logged in though they are gone. EDIT: just logged out. There were forums for Madden 08, Faster Than Light, Zoo Tycoon 2, the Mass Effect series, and many many others.
