strongbone
My friend was over the other day, and I showed him http://www.exploitsrus.com/gw.html It is a site with cheats, bugs, dupes, etc for guild wars. He told me it was against the rules for gw to do this. Is this true? I am used to cheating on video games for my whole life, so I was sort of shocked to hear this. Dark0ne
[sarcasm] Oh, a site that you have to PAY to get the exploit. I've never seen one of them before [/sarcasm] The irony is, the site is an exploit in itself and, more often than not, the exploits are exploits, but only exploits of your pocket. Loads of them sprung up when EQ2 came out. Of course, the best gold "exploit" for EQ2 was one that was perfectly legal. Dang, maybe I should have charged Switch money to learn of my secret money grabbing ways! ;)
Akrid
I am used to cheating on video games for my whole life, so I was sort of shocked to hear this. Morgoth
You know, there's something like Rules of Conduct. 9. You may not modify any part of the Guild Wars Client, Server, or any part of the official Guild Wars websites. 17. You will not attempt to interfere with, hack into, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running Guild Wars. 18. You will not exploit any bug in Guild Wars and you will not communicate the existence of any such exploitable bug (bugs that grant the user unnatural or unintended benefits) either directly or through public posting, to any other user of Guild Wars. Bugs should be promptly reported via 'Ask a Question' at http://support.guildwars.com. 20. You will not create, use, or provide any server emulator or other site where Guild Wars may be played, and you will not post or distribute any utilities, emulators or other software tools related to Guild Wars without the express written permission of NC Interactive. -tr8er8-
Wouldn't that be illegal? Because the whole point of buying it is pretty much to have the key to play.
Switch
Not only is that post pertaining to illegal actions (I THINK, I'm not actually totally sure what that key is... but still if you didn't buy the magazine I doubt it's legal to get the key, whatever it is) danielw, but it's thread necromancy as well. Completely against forum rules. Consider this a formal warning, if we catch you at this again it's strike 1. Removing your post. Locked.
