Yes, it's in Pounds Sterling and what you pay depends on the exchange rate.

I mean, even if they offered it in your preferred type of money they would still have to convert it to the equivalent of the price in Pounds. It's not going to make much difference, it would just be a pain for them for no reason.

It'd have to be in a single currency.  If it was based on whatever country you're from the exchange rates vary widely.  For example: if premium was 5.00 regardless of what currency, some would pay 5 pounds stirling, others 5 Iranian Rial.  The issue with this example is that in order to convert 5 pounds to Iranian Rial it would be approxmiately 211,375 Iranian Rial (IRR).  As you can see those who would pay 5 IRR would get an incredible deal over those paying 5 pounds.  So it has to be in 1 standard currency so the others can be converted to it.
