How do I turn off Vortex's auto-program update?

I'm currently using Windows 7.

I will be using Windows 7 tomorrow as well.

I'm using the last version of Vortex to function in Windows 7. Vortex has automatically downloaded the next update, and keeps trying to update itself after each time that the program closes.

I have to cancel the installation, so the program will continue to function.

Is there a way to stop its desire to update itself?

Why should he? There are many of us still using 7 and have absolutely no desire to use any other BS-MS product...ever...going forward. Develop a linux mod manager "for pity's sake"...and I'll leave 7. Not meaning to be ugly, but your comment is puerile BS and not helpful.

Now, that being said...

I also would like an answer, if there is one...

To be fair, I'm hoping you're fully aware that MS has ended all support for Win7 including, I believe, security updates. Whatever your opinion of Microsoft's work the OS is only going to get less secure from here on out. So I'd hope you are properly taking that into account.

But, that wasn't the question you were seeking an answer for.
