Can't Use/Run tools...also can't enable it

I'm trying to run SSKE and it's not letting me run it...i noticed that tools was disabled so i try to enable it. nothing. anyone know how to fix this issue? would be greatly Appreciated

Click the three dots on the side of the tool, choose the edit option and make sure the settings are correct.

I have the exact same issue as sneakitype but I am less computer literate ... when you say "settings are correct", I am lost as I don't have a model of what are the correct settings.  I installed skyrim in my documents folder because some mods were being blocked by windows ... and I think I have the right folder location (it contains a creation kit exe file, but beyond that I am at a loss.

You shouldn't have Skyrim in the "my documents" folder.  That will cause issues.

What store did you get Skyrim from?

I might be having a similar issue. I just switched over from MO2, so I'm not especially familiar with Vortex, but when trying to run tools I'm just getting nothing. No error or anything, just natta.

Running the tools from their respective file directories works fine, but re-targetting the tools in MO2 didn't fix the issue.

 

EDIT: For some reason, enabling the tool bar and running from there works. So weird.
