Did you buy plain Morrowind, or Morrowind + expansions (since you mention the construction set I'm assuming you're using the PC version?)? What do you mean by you 'downloaded it'?

If you have the expansions too, in what order did you install them? Were there any problems during the install?

Does your computer meet the minimum specifications?

What is the exact error message you are getting when trying to start Morrowind or the construction set?

What other programs are you running in the background when the error occurs?

If you get the game working, give me a shout and I can try to help you learn how to use the construction set. But until then, the only thing I can suggest is that either your computer doesnt meet specifications, or you might have to re-install. As Theta mentioned (as well as above), you have to install it in the right order. That would be: Morrowind, Tribunal Bloodmoon. You have to get it in that order or it might screw up and not work. Also, go to the Morrowind download(Morrowind Home Page) and you can download the newest patch. That is the website put up by Bethesda, so you know it is bona fide and you wont be downloading a virus. I have done that >.<

I thought the order of the instalation was Morrowind - Bloodmoon and then the other one??? ??? Oh well, It don't matter to me I on;y have bloodmoon :D

I installed it morrowind tribunal bloodmoon, i believe that's the order they came out, that's good to know i didn't know it had to be installed in that order.

And i've been told to install the consturction set from the morrowind CD not the construction set cd. wierd, you might wonder then what the construction set cd is for, it has the DATA FILES for meshes, textures, icons, etc.

So let's get this straight... The data files for tribunal are on the tribunal cd, the data files for bloodmoon are on the bloodmoon cd, the data files for morrowind are on the construction set cd, but you should install the construction set from the morrowind cd, not the cs cd.

You don't need the CS CD to use the CS, but for making new objects from meshes or for retexturing you do. but thats another story, first learn how to use the existing parts.

I dont believe you can install the CS from the CS CD. There is no 'Setup' or anything, just files. So install the CS when you install Morrowind. The reason it goes in that order (MW, TR, BM) is because if you install Bloodmoon before Tribunal it still comes up on the game menu (when you first start the game and click 'Play') that Tribunal is installed. I'm not sure if it will have an impact on the actual game, but I dont want to find out myself.

Ive just  bought  the game  morrowind  and  downloaded  it  but get a  error  cant start  it  can someone  help me  female  here  :*(

construction site wont  work for some reason

i assume that by dowload you mean installed from the cd, are you getting an error loading morrowind or the construction set? i'm assuming you mean construction site, what exactly is the errorr? when you try loading it, or when installing? please be a little more specific if you expect any kind of help. :)

error messages:

if you have trubunal, and or bloodmmon, and you start up the CS, then you select data files. most often the morrowind ESM, if you want to include tribunal or bloodmoon, select those too, when you do there will be about 70 or so error messages caused by dialog changes you say yes to continue loading, everything will work fine...you can set it up to allow yes to all, in the INI file, so you don't wear out the enter button.

error when installing morrowind:

i've heard of others who have had this error, i'm not sure the cause,

my cd stopped at about 70% installation the first couple of times i tried installing, there was a speck of paint on from the manufacturing process, i cleaned it and it loaded right up, i don't know if that had anything to do with it, but i reinstalled a few times afterwards and had no trouble so i think that's what it was in my case.
