HeyYou
34 minutes ago, LarannKiar said: I don't know what their plan is but technically speaking the release of the Creation Kit isn't something they need to plan. Very likely they take the developer version and cut the features utilizable through external APIs (scripts to handle large data, probably only on powerful servers) and proprietary portion of code that they're not authorized to share with third parties. I think they're still working on the dynamic FormID issue though. That's probably more important than new content that unavoidably registers new forms to saves. Yeah, the form ID thing is a game killer, and REALLY needs to be addressed. There is a patch coming out to beta on the 17th..... they talk about 'bug fixes', but, not specifically. We'll see what happens.

"Fixed rare save game corruptions on PC" ---> ...rare? no word about dynamic FormIDs though. (One would think if it's fixed it'd be on top). As for the original post, I've found where weapon mods are such are stored but I couldn't find everything. I think I know where are the rest and how to get them but a few Classes would need to be decoded first to test the theory.. Anyway, properly reattaching objects to other objects is (generally) much more difficult than reading out their data. aurreth
You would think Bethesda would go through the Community Patch and fix all those, but apparently they are too proud.
LarannKiar
If they don't patch it then unfortunately I'll have no other choice but to make some FormID releaser Form deleter.. normally I wouldn't start deleting Forms but I suppose if the save is so broken that it contanstly CTDs then there's no harm in trying to do something about it... at least until they come up with a proper solution that'll hopefully be retroactive. From the native code, these error messages should be dumped to the Papyrus log upon trying to call delete on certain forms that aren't supported to be deleted. "Cannot delete deterministic references such as cloned references, procedural references, planet cells, etc. " "Cannot delete spaceships. Spaceships have special handling for their associated ship cells and can\'t be directly deleted. This reference will be disabled instead." "Cannot delete the player" As for "deterministic" forms, it's the ~100th data flag.. I haven't checked which forms are actually flagged as such, yet. Update: I managed to find the parts and I can export them along with their data but I still don't know how to properly import and reattach them to the ship without breaking it..
