bben46
This looks like it may be the infamous fake antivirus - sometimes calls itself something like Antivirus XP08 or Win Antivirus something. This is a nasty trojan and is hard to remove. It tries to get you to pay for their bogus product to remove it, but actually they want your credit card number to sell to credit card thieves. Try these All of these are available from Majorgeeks.com A legitimate software site frequented by real geeks and in business for over 10 years. MalwareBytes Shareware, but highly rated. http://majorgeeks.com/Malwarebytes_Anti-Malware_d5756.html SuperAntiSpyware (yes it is a legitimate product) Free, and very through http://majorgeeks.com/SUPERAntiSpyware_d5116.html SmitFraudfix Free and gets rid of some fake antivirus programs that others can't touch http://majorgeeks.com/SmitFraudFix_d5360.html After each one, run a good registry cleaner - such as ccleaner, then reboot CCleaner - without the yahoo toolbar - http://majorgeeks.com/CCleaner_Slim_d4191.html The fake antivirus hides a portion of itself in the registry and reloads itself if the registry is not cleaned when it is removed. ericazwel
I got the dreaded Vundo once and Malwarebytes cleared it right up. I highly recommend it. Macromicro, I couldn't agree with you more.

Is where I was takenIf it was due to a bad ad on a Nexus server, a screenshot of where you went will tell us nothing. We need a screenshot of the page before you were re-directed.
