Vortex Mod Manager 2.44 FAIL

Observation: Vortex is dysfunctional.

Observation: Vortex doesn't (isn't in my case) writing to StarfieldCustom.ini file.

So mods go "unseen" or are corrupted on install.

 

I'm not a code writer so take this as well meaning.

I'm also running Windows 11 with fully updated graphics drivers.

 

None of the mods I installed through Vortex worked. (using Vortex as installed *default)

meaning I made no adjustments or tweaks to Vortex.

 

Maybe someone could check into this.

 

P.S. Have all instructions for Vortex and client mods made clear, in step by step format as not everyone come to modding with mad skilz.

 

P.S. Have other games modded with Forger and Resorop.

Observation: Vortex is at version 1.9.3. What is this 2.44 you are referring to?

 

Observation: Latest version of Starfield Extension specifically says it does NOT write to StarfieldCustom.ini and that you have to do that yourself.
