Vortex problems since last Starfield update

I'm about to be 50 years old this coming Thursday, and I'm at the last hair that's on my already bald head.

 

Ever since the latest patch of Starfield, a few days ago, my Vortex installation is acting quite buggy.

 

i.e. As of late attempting to either update mods, deploy mods, or even remove mods come with the same endpoint symptom. An infinite stuck loading loop that just sits there and never completes. I'm down to about to reinstall Vortex over my existing active version to see if that resolvers my issue, though I worry about my heavily modded FO4 profile in so doing.

 

All this stemming from the issue where Vortex does not apparently see my Starfield.exe ever since the last Starfield update.

 

And a bonus, I tried to set up Cyberpunk for Phantom Liberty tonight, and more of the infinite loading butckus, not even allowing to switch between games.

 

Please help a poor geriatric gamer get his game back on. Purty please with manure on top? :smile:

Good luck amigo, this could be related to the issues I reported over here but I don't seem to be getting any traction on a fix. Part of my issue did include "invalid primary tool" i.e. Vortex unhooking itself from the game exe.

I finally resorted to uninstalling Vortex, then reinstalling, yet the same weird problem, more odd is the fact that I wants administrator privileges' issues to conduct any deployments of updates, which is damn odd since the .exe. say in properties, after I enable administrator rights, with a warning dialogue box that warns me 'not' to do this at all.

 

Um... what? :/
