jimlawl
Can this account's email be changed to a different one? I have the same IP I've always used since I registered. Also can an admin check other IPs that have accessed my account? The IP that changed my password recently was probably from another country. I made this account in Canada in late 2008 and moved to Peru in early 2011. It's not a keylogger by the way, my password for both this account and email were extremely simple to guess since I didn't care about computers as much and the Nexus websites weren't as big. By the way, whoever stole this account was a 'genius' for guessing <snipped>. NOT. If this isn't possible, can I be allowed to create a new account? Pretty sure they ban alternate accounts here. JimboUK
You can change it yourself from your user area.
Thandal
It it unlikely that anyone hacked your account. You were able to log-in and post this message, and you only have a single Nexus account. The game sites just use a different interface than the forums to access the credential store. What version of NMM are you using? If earlier than version 0.46.0, you will not be able to log-in with it. This was by-design due to problems caused by earlier versions. If you don't have 0.46.0 installed, please get it here: Nexus Mod Manager
JimboUK
If you haven't been hacked you should still change your password, I saw it before it was edited out and I dare say others did.
Thandal
Good advice from jim_uk. Click the drop-down next to your username in the top-left, then choose "My Settings". The first option is for changing your email or password.
jimlawl
My account is still on this website due to cookies since I didn't log out. I re-installed Nexus Mod Manager due to a problem I had with a New Vegas mod not installing properly and when it asked me to put in my info, I found out my password was changed. My email password (same as Nexus and extremely simple) was also changed. Someone must have guessed my Nexus password and seen my email. I don't mind since it's only $5 for the monthly subscription. I just don't want a new account to be banned due to the multiple accounts policy of the forums. Also changing passwords AND emails require you to have the other. Do admins have tools that view the last IPs on each account? Pretty sure some users got banned for multiple account endorsing and the admins had the specific IP-account combinations so I'm assuming they do. Check my account it's the same IP as 3 years ago... There's probably some other guy that recently logged in from another country that hacked me.

jimlawl
I don't want a new account, I'm trying to recover this one but I can't change it while I am logged in because someone changed my password and email's password.
Dark0ne
I'm not seeing any irregular activity or IP address usage on your account. Does anyone else have access to your PC? You've already said you don't log yourself out when you're done browsing the site so it's possible someone with access to your PC has changed it. Send in a support ticket using the Contact Us link and I'll sort it out with you.
jimlawl
Unless my 44 year old mom is secretly a hacker, I doubt it xD Very weird how I forget those things..., maybe I just have amnesia or something oh well... Sending support ticket now.
