Axsom22
It's been a while since I've used Vortex, and done any modding - probably 3 or 4 years, but I remember this being easier... On my desktop, I have a separate drive for games (D:\)In Vortex 1.9.5, where do I go to have it scan the (D:\) for games? I have the games I'm playing on my laptop for on-the-go, and Vortex found Starfield on it.I just can't seem to get it to find it on the desktop, and I don't have the space on my M.2 to install a game there.I have tried installing Vortex on the same drive, I have tried putting it in the Steam Common folder. Where do I access advanced settings in here - nothing it like it was - I expected some changes but there is nowhere to add multiple drives to scan. I checked the site and I have to get an image, create a json files, etc... really - that's not easy... Can anyone advise???
showler
You don't scan for games anymore. Whatever game you want to manage, select it in the games list and choose the "manage" option. Vortex should then find the information for that game.
Axsom22
that's just it, on my desktop it's not there - but it is on the laptop, that's what I don't get...
Solution showler Posted October 18, 2023 Solution Share Posted October 18, 2023 Sorry, I misread. If you're missing the Starfield extension you can get it here: https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/
