why does this happen? (BG3 extension)

i booted up vortex because i haven't done so in a long while, see that my vortex launcher has an update, so i applied it. I then boot it back up, and i see some extensions for games i don't have. No biggie, ill just get rid of them, so i do, restart vortex to finalize it, and i see that the baldur's gate 3 extension has reinstalled itself......bro, i haven't even owned or played the first BG title, i don't need or want this extension on my vortex, yet everytime i delete/uninstall it, it reinstalls itself

Because they are part of Vortex itself. They are treated as extensions because it allows them to update separate from the main program, but they are part of the full Vortex package.

 

Stop trying to uninstall them. It won't work.
