AncientSpaceAeon
Just tell it here and now. Either when you first got out from the sewers, first met the Adoring Fan, realized that your characters wear no clothes, or anything else. Whether it was the most annoying time, the most happiest moments, the saddest moments. Just tell it here ! My most memorable moment : Knowing that the Dark Brotherhood was an assassin's guild. chaosapiant
1. sweet roll for fimmion...sweet rool for fimmion....suh weeeet roooooooool. 2. I was watchign the two brawlers outside the Imperial Arena, and a random guy (probably from the tamriel travellers mod) walks up and starts talking to Branwen. The argonian keeps swinging and pegging her into the back of her head. My hand to hand went up 5 points.
Jinxxed0
When I spent me first month or so using only hand to hand and no magic except healing and then finding out that vanilla hand to hand sucks. I figured the game was suppose to be hard. I just wanted to be a martial artist :(
Pineapplerum
I was really weirded out when I went into the first Oblivion gate and saw those dead bodies hanging from above and strapped up to walls.Very creepy and it made me scared. But now I just loot the dead bodies for gold and move on.
Deleted1217574User
OK, I love these kinds of posts, cause I've had so many WTF moments in Oblivion it's not funny. (Actually, it is). First up. I was using the "Romancing of Eyja" mod, and was at the part where you take Eyja out to dinner in Anvil. It was here that I saw some Oblivion's wonderful AI at work. This was an actual conversation, quoted as best I can remember. Eyja: How are you?Other patron: I've been better. You?Eyja: I've been better.Other patron: Do you think things will get better?"Eyja: I hope things get better. And then they said their goodbyes. However, a minute later, they proceed to have the EXACT same conversation again. Next one. I was in your typical, bandit-infested hellhole. My general method of getting rid of them is to get them all into one large group, take them into a smallish room, and then blast them with some area-effect spells. So, I'm running, posse in tow, when I come to this one room that has an uphill slope, a pile of logs at the top, and another bandit. I can imagine this bandit just grinning and then pushing the logs down the hill. I'm like, "Oh $#!*" since the bandits behind me had already given me quite a beating, and there's no way I could survive being run over by the logs. So, in desperation, I charge up the hill, where the bandit activates the logs, and proceeds to.... Massacre his allies. Yup, every last one crushed by their ally, and I survived just by jumping over them. I'll bet that guy felt like a total douche afterward. Luckily he didn't live much longer. What else.... Ah! I was in the dungeon from the Mehrune's Razor plugin, with all the bridges and overhanging staircases and what not. So, I'm in sneak mode, heading towards a building when I hear "Die, damn you!" Panicking, I look around for the assailant. So, I look up, and there's a Drothmeri veteran on the bridge above. He screams at me again, and then, claymore in hand, jumps off the bridge a hundred feet in the air. He hit the ground like a Dark Elf covered in ebony armor. I looted the corpse, nice new set of ebony in hand, and didn't have to do a thing. A true Highlander story. I was in the Merchant's Inn in the Market district, and I accidentally knock over a bowl full of apples. Forgetting I have my Realistic Crime mod turned off, I pick up the bowl to set it back down, when the Innkeeper screams "Thief! You'll never get away with this!" and comes towards me. As if by magic, a guard appears in tells me about how I violated the law, forfeit goods, blah blah blah. So, I resist arrest, and not wanting to be teleported to the prison to pay a fine of 1 gold, I use the console to clear my name. This is fine by the guard, who turns to walk away, but not good enough for the innkeeper. He screams at me to die, and then punches me in the face, doing a whole 3 damage. But that was 3 damage too much for the guard. He slashes the poor Innkeeper who screams his surrender and runs outside, guard following. The poor guy's quickly killed, thanks to my remove essential mod, but not before he gets the attention of this mage that's in town, thanks to another mod. The mage flings some area-effect, drain-health-over-time spell which pisses off everyone in Tamriel from the looks of it. All hell breaks loose, and everyone's fighting everyone, including the guards. Loyalties are broken almost as fast as their weapons. Finally, a few minutes later, everyone's dead, except for this one Imperial guard. He sheathes his sword, walks over the bodies towards me, and says, "Is something wrong, citizen?" He keeps walking, and notices a dead guard. He stops, stares at the guard for a moment, and then says something about no sleeping on the job or the captain will be angry or something. He gets no response of course, so just keeps walking, and then falls over dead a few seconds later from the mage's drain health spell. Needless to say, I reloaded an earlier save. And my favorite... I stepped outside the Imperial Temple District, and a horse fell from the sky and died. I was like, WTH? Never saw it happen again, even reloaded a save. I think I own the glitchiest copy of Oblivion ever. :thanks: Thanks for reading, know it's really long! :thanks:

chaosapiant
I have seaview castle mod installed, and the Tamriel Immersion Experience. I highly recommend both mods. Anywho, I was riding around Dive Rock with my new horse "Arrowspeed." Arrowspeed is marked as an essential horse like Shadowmere, and doesn't die. I was riding around the upper northeast corner of the map, and low and behold I come up on a HUGE Ogre Colossus!. He was at least 20 or so feet tall. I'm level 11 with a non enchanted steel longsword, and a couple of damage health poisons. I also have a very basic iron bow, iron arrows, and low marksman skill. I load a poisoned arrow and let fly. It hits him, and he comes running towards me. Then right past me, and starts beating the snot out of my horse. So I start hacking at him with my longsword in his...calfs. Yea, his calfs are eye level. We go through this cycle of him wailing on my horse, horse goign unconscious, then him chasing me running circles. Once the horse wakes up, he runs back over to this horse and starts wailing on it again. This goes on for about 20 minutes. Soon, my long swords breaks due to durability hitting zero. Then I unload about 25 iron arrows into his butt...literally. After that, he still has about 25% health. I then start using the very basic "flare" spell you get at the beginning of the game. Mind you, Destruction is not my major, but it's all I had left. I cast this spell so much that Destruction goes up 5 points. He finally falls and takes a tumble down a steep hill. I loot corpse. Overall, the most exhilirating battle i've ever seen!
LHammonds
While creating the mod called Lost Paladins of the Divines, I was using several different types of characters at various levels to make sure the werewolves were sufficiently tough and well-placed and so on. I was using a Khajiit in my BETA Testing Characters package and attacked the 1st werewolf and found that no matter what I did, I could not damage the werewolf sufficiently to kill him without the correct weapons. He was regenerating faster than I could take health away (as designed). So I fled the ruin just before I was too low on health and ran out only to find another creature outside that just happened to be walking around and could have been easily killed if I had the health but I decided to keep running to a safe spot to regen. I reached a body of water and stood about waist high in the water and noticed no creatures around that might attack. I started to use magic to heal and I heard something behind me. I turned around and saw that the werewolf I ran from had followed me and leap attacked and killed me just as I saw him. I almost had a heart attack! guyfieriinaratmask
While fighting the Shambles for the Gatekeeper bones in the Garden of Flesh and Bone, Jayred knocked one down with an arrow. It then flew up incredibly high, so high I couldn't even see it. I just stared up for a while and then it finally crashed down infront of me, and it died from the fall. I had a good laugh.
