Crimyreaf5555
game launches fine with mods, the game just stops at title screen and wont take any keyboard or mouse inputs, also its just black, no spinning planet in the background like usual Edited March 29 by Crimyreaf5555
HeyYou
Pull up the performance monitor, see if the proc, and storage drive are doing anything. Might also try alt+tabbing to/from starfield a couple times. That will sometimes shake things loose.
Crimyreaf5555
alt tabbing does nothing and the process is normal
HeyYou
Go to your my games\starfield folder, and rename any .ini files you find there. Let the game recreate them.

Crimyreaf5555
uninstalling, reinstalling, disable all mods, verify, manually reinstalling mods, deleting any mod that may mess with the main menu, what you suggested, nothing got me past the start screen. HeyYou
If you use a mod manager, uninstall all of your mods. Uninstall the game. Delete the Starfield folders in your SteamApps\Common, My Documents\My Games, (back up your saves first) and appdata\local. (hidden folder, need to show hidden folders.) Reboot your machine. (just for giggles.) Reinstall JUST the game. Start the game. See if it starts.
lostinwhere
I would also uninstall your mod manager and all if it's associated files and folders as well. The re-install just the game and go from there. Also remember what I said in another post, saves can retain corrupt data and cause an otherwise intact game install to crash or fail to load.
