EyzekSkyerov
I did everything as it is said here. I disabled automatic plugin activation after installation in the Vortex settings. But the problem is not solved. If I install any mod in vortex and do deploy - I have a bunch of mods without master files enabled (for which I want to install mods later), and many of those that I enabled are disabled. I use wrye bash to manage the loading order. But every time I put a new mod in vortex - the order is lost. Only if I enable/disable something through the vortex plugin manager - then it is saved. But it is less convenient, because mods without the required master file are not highlighted like in wrye bash. 7531Leonidas
Vortex does its own load sorting, that is why the LO is lost. You could turn it off in the menu bar 'Autosort Enabled'. However, to your other point, missing masters are displayed in both the 'Notifications' bell at the top right of the UI (loud orange boxes), but also in the 'LOOT notes' on the plugins page. You must make sure that the 'Flags' display is enabled on your Plugins tab in Vortex (use the 'gear' icon to show which headers are enabled). Missing masters should be shown under both the 'Warnings' and 'LOOT messages' under that display column. Mods with missing masters should not be installed and enabled, as they can cause errors in game, even corrupting your game saves. You should only use one mod manager to install mods, not both WB and Vortex. What one does, the other does again on its own, and they will not respect or recognize the other manager's choices. I disabled autosorting. But still, when installing any mods with ESP, the list of active and inactive plugins gets lost. WB is only good for enabling/disabling plugins. I would like to have a function to disable the load order control function for vortex, and leave only installation and file conflict resolution. Moreover, there were no such problem some time before. In vortex, everything is not as clear visuable as in wrye bash. Therefore, I don’t use it for load order control In vortex it is not visible that the mod is missing the master file when it is not activated. But in wrye bash it is visible regardless of the activation of esp Edited February 25 by EyzekSkyerov
7531Leonidas
@EyzekSkyerovI do not think that it is possible to separate file conflict resolution from the load order management in Vortex, since the conflict resolution process forces files to be loaded in a specific order. Have you looked at Mod Organizer 2? It might have the 'visualization' you desire. There are a lot of users who would be glad to help you through the process of changing over, pointing out tutorials, videos, and the like. I have only used the original Mod Organizer, and it was for Skyrim LE, if I remember correctly, so I couldn't be of any real help.
