Vortex Not Loading in Starfield Mods Now But Was Fine Yesterday

Up until yesterday my modded starfield was working fine. I would use vortex to start the game and all of the mods I use would get loaded in. But for some reason it is now not working. Starfield warns me before I start the game that the mods are not loaded and I quit out. So my save is fine.

So far I have checked that vortex is pointed to the correct location and that all of the mods are in the data folder. I do notice that when I select open game folder and open mod folder, that I get taken to the same folder. It is the one with starfield.exe, and inside the data folder in there are all the esm files for my mods. Given that everything seems to be there, I am not sure what is going wrong. As I said before it worked fine yesterday.

What else can I check to try and find why the mods are not being loaded?

If you are playing the 1.8.87 beta you cannot use plugin mods with that version

 

Edit: Your game probably updated to 1.8.88.0 - make sure you update the script extender!

I play on PC but using XBox Game Pass, so I assume you mean the Ultimate ASI Loader?

So for others. my game version had indeed updated. As I play on PC on Gamepass I had to download the Ultimate ASI Loader again and paste the new dll into my game folder. If you play on Steam I assume that means you will need the latest script extender.
