MadeUpName92
Please, can we get ahead of the mind numbing mess this time? I would like to see a stickied thread that only mod authors can post in. Allow mod authors to add thier own sub folders for each of their mods where they can post information when a game update has broken their mod and if and when they plan to update it for the current game build. Also, add an option for mod author to switch the folder icon between a "working" and a "broken" status.
HeyYou
Pretty much anything that relies on SFSE, or Address Library is going to break when the game updates. For others, its a crap shoot. Just depends on what the patch actually does.
aurreth
Beyond the fact that getting people to participate would be problematic, how does Nexusmods benefit from the work required to set something like this up? Nexus is a business. While you can pay for added benefits most of their income is generated from ad revenue and data analytics, just like most other websites. More page views, having users go to each individual mod page, benefits them more than a one stop status page in the forums. And what about the other 2605 games they host mods for? If they do it for Starfield they'd have to do it for the others. Getting an idea of how much work would be involved in implementing something that would reduce their income?
