Your new saves will only go into whichever profile is active.

So forget the old one, we know it was broke. See if you can play via the new one. but be sure to disable at least a couple mods before u try.

No guranatees that your saves will work on the new profile perfect, but this has been my go-to for a few untracktable issues in the past. But if one or all work, then you won. and if not tweak the mods a bit.

Can you get to the game menu where you can load a given save?

or does starting up via F4SE button do this crash right away and u cant even get to the "load " tab?

If you CAN get back to the main menu then try going back a few saves and deleted a couple more mods.

If you cant you can uninstall F4SE and then redownload F4SE and enable and see if that helps.

If those things dont help maybe someone more sage then me can chime in.

In the mods menu of your profile just type in f4se.

it should show right up.

If for some reaosn it doesnt, look under utilities in the mods menu.

be sure to click "remove" not just disable.

Then down load again from here. https://f4se.silverlock.org/

Then install that file from your downloads folder using Vortex "Install form file" tab  (top left on orange header)

 

Do not attempt to start game with F4se not installed as most of your mods will not be seen by the game.

Not all mods need F4se but most of them do.

 

PS: Kinda a given since u said it worked before but I gotta ask:

If u are using an NVIDIA card you have "weapons debris" turned off correct?

i am using a AMD card

also i kinda f*#@ed up and now all my .7z files now open in notepad and i cant download it, do you know how to undo that since i cant find how

you likely must have mis clicked and "open this file" and checked "always" with notepad. Not sure why you would want to open those files with notepad. But if your internet conenction is good no reason not to redownload.

Not 100% sure how to undo it. I would go back to the same file and reopen it an uncheck that box if thats possible.

Do some searches on that too i am sure it will come right up.

i open .7z files as notepads for downloading some off site mods and dropping them into vortex
