Ive copy and pasted my last 10 save files and made a collection to download if i need to manually uninstall all vortex mods.

So whats the next step? and im also kinda worried that if i delete files the saves wont load and wont work and i dont really have any USBs to have the files feel safe

saves may not work unless you reinstall the same mods, at least most of them.

the idea is ot save your mod list and reinstall all but the last few

alright

but what files do i delete?

the left over folders that a fallout 4 uninstall sometimes leaves over.

you have to look around for those folders. some data always seems to stick.

The reinstall and vortex mods can be just disabled and then renebale step by step.

Dont uninstall all your vortex mods, just disable. So you dont ahve to donwload them again.

I am a bit uncomforatble though. I am not there and dont see what you see. its risky reocmmending courses of action.

Please try to decribe your current issue again in as much detail as you can and then I will get a better sense of it and perhpas someone lese will too.

what do i do now?

So not sure if you just disabled the mods or deleted them?

(Just Disabling them would have saved you future work)

Now uninstall the game via an unistall wizard and then reinstall via steam.

Steam has an unistall wizard you can use

On Steam go to

-Library

-recent games

-Fallout 4

-Right clight on the game and then click the "manage" tab

- Click the uninstall tab

Wait until this is done,

EDIT: After its done check your S'team apps" folder in your progrtam files to make sure no fallout 4 folders or fiels are left ( except any savegames you copied and parker elsewhere)

then go back into Steam and reinstall.

When you boot the game back up enable your mods step by step.

Exclude the most recent mods (since u had problems )

Did you save your key savegames somewhere outside the game folders?

You need both the FOS file and the F4SE file together for a given savegame to make it work again with the mods that were present.

There is a chance your savegames may not working/crashing m depending on the mods you disbaled if one of your recent mods you are disabling is/was a large script heavy mod.
