MutedM Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 Hi, I am not good at using mods for New Vegas and I've had a problem for ages and had no idea how to fix it. There are textures that are loading into the game when I'm going from place to place, like fences and rocks, and they are appearing on my screen despite the fact that they shouldn't be visible. Is anyone able to advise how I can fix this issue? In the past I've just dealt with it but it's getting pretty ridiculous now. The link below shows screenshots of what I mean, as well as my mod folder and plug in folder on Nexus. https://imgur.com/a/JqDiS1l Thank you in advance
MuteSignals Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 I would always recommend doing a clean install of the game/Verify integrity of game cache if you use Steam incase any mods active or not have caused this. Judging from the screenshots, you're able to see through rocks which is really weird. Been a while since I've encountered this (once in skyrim), hopefully by me making this post I can bump the thread and maybe someone else can help out.
JimboUK Posted January 2, 2024 Posted January 2, 2024 Are you using any kind of ENB or similar? if so try removing it.
laclongquan Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 I would make a diagnose: HD graphic mod of water, light sources (parpticularly this sucker) and ENB. This guy's rig is not strong enough to run that load. Can OP provide a complete list of what's installed on your session? Both enabled and disabled mod. ALL of it.
