But a question, if I had kept a copy of skyrim.exe and the creationkit.exe somewhere and just pasted them back into my game would that have worked to continue with my old version? Pickysaurus Posted January 17 Share Posted January 17 It may work, depending on how far behind you're trying to be. Best way is to test it and see. If you use Vortex you can install the EXEs as a mod, select the "Mod type" of "Engine injector" and then Vortex will handle swapping the EXEs by enabling or disabling the mod.
