strusik
Hi, I recently installed and then uninstalled this mod as it conflicted with another one: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16625?tab=description But after a while I noticed that the happiness indicators in my settlements are frozen at the same values, while there is an up or down arrow next to them, showing that supposedly this indicator is changing, but actually it is not and in fact the indicators are neither going up nor down. I think that this mod could somehow rewrite the files and remove the change of this value. Is there any way to fix this problem somehow? I'm also wondering if the workshopscript.psc and workshopscript.pex files are vanilla files? Because the mod consists of these files and after uninstalling it, these files were deleted from the game folder and I think this could also be a potential cause of my problem
jjb54
I know you are not going to like the answer: You will have to start a fresh clean game. Maybe even a clean install of FO4. < - Try just a new clean game, 1st though. Something you might want to do in the future - READ THE POSTS and see if there is ( and there is ) any on going, similar and such problems. There were enough posts that would have warned me: DO NOT GO HERE!
subaverage
If you have an existing save from before you first used this mod you can try to load this and see if it works. Perhaps you can avoid to start a complete game.

Everything worked when it was installed, the problems started after I uninstalled it (I tracked it down through my save history), I have a theory that I might be able to get it working again if I can figure out which files in the root folder of the game are responsible for the workshop and replace them with vanilla files (my ideas on this might seem strange to you, but I think it should work), since I think the mod overwrote something and now it refuses to work without it

The mod itself didn't break the game while active, the problems started after it was removed, I specifically traced it back to my save history

And in addition there is a notice concerning stuck happiness on the modpage. Thats's why I suggested to look for a savegame from before you had first installed the mod. Unfortunately I've been playing with this mod since the beginning What about overwriting the save? I've heard of a thing called Resaver, can that help? subaverage
I never had success with it. You can try, but make a copy of your savegame before. Tbh I fear you will have to start a new game. If you decide to do so you should have all mods disabled (there are possible exceptions, but it's easier to disable all) until you leave Vault111 for the first time. Afterwards you can enable your mods. Better in blocks than all at once. Edited February 1 by subaverage
363rdChemicalCompany
One trick I use before I enable Script heavy mods thta I dont know if I iwll like them or not is this: -Clone a profile of my existing Vortex profile -Copy/paste the last 2 or 3 savegame files into that new profile's save game folder - Enable the new mod and play it. -Now my previous playthrough and save files are completely protected from any shenanigans. EDITED for typos

Do you know which part exactly is responsible for refreshing this in the workshop and so on?
