Fallout 3 does not want to launch through Vortex

Whenever I try to launch the game it starts running for a second then automatically closes (saw it in task manager) I've tried reinstalling all mods, reinstalling the game and rerunning the anniversary patcher, nothing helps. The game doesn't run even if I disable/enable different mods, even all of them. These are all the mods I have installed.

Does it work from the original game launcher?

Does it work by launching FOSE directly with Vortex closed?

The game launches from Epic Games launcher just fine, it doesn't launch off of FOSE directly

What executable is set as the default?  It should be "Fallout3.exe".

It is set to exactly that

also it ran for the first time, then stopped working, when i installed FOSE and command extender

Usually Vortex starts FOSE rather than Fallout3.exe.  That's why I wondered if the default had changed when you installed FOSE.

Oh okay, how do I fix this?

Go to the tools panel, find the entry for "Fallout3.exe", click the three dots to open the menu and select the "set as default" option.

Going by memory so some details may be a little off.
