I left the PS camp at 3, when I heard where they were headed with 4.    Sold the unit, sold/gave away the games and moved over 100% to PC.

Games like this they might design them with consoles in mind but they are really meant to be explored through modding on PC's.

There is nothing inherently wrong with Vortex. Considering our community's most prolific programmer of the last 15 years trusts it to download and install the script extender, i think it is probably safe to use. It's one thing to have a preference but to just call it straight sht because you hate this site and it's proprietors just shows really poor character.

At least the rest of your advice was sound. You are no dummy, that is certain but i am not sure how you see past that chip on your shoulder.

Sony artificially limits what can and cannot be included in mods.  No scripts, no models, no textures, etc; no assets which are not already in the base game.  So, you will NEVER get the really good mods which are on Xbox (or even PC) because Sony won't allow them. 

Now, Sony insists these restrictions are for "security and integrity", and I suspect Sony is only telling half the truth.  Personally, I suspect the "security and integrity"  Sony is actually worried about is the "security and integrity" of the sales of their exclusive titles, which might be compromised if Microsoft titles become more popular than the Sony Exclusives. 

Speculation on motives aside, some mod makers (like myself) simply don't bother trying any more.  Not because of some "PC" superiority complex; as some imply, but because we tire of stripping our mods to make them fit within Sony's restrictions, only to discover that our efforts are a fools errand.  So, you become a victim of Sony's restrictions when it comes to mod selection.  The bottom line here is painfully simple; if you want better mods, you need to get a  different platform to play on.  I know that last statement opens me up to an onslaught of vitriol from Sony's worshippers, but so be it.  The truth is the truth.

Has nothing to do with a PC superiority complex.

If you want to MOD your game - the PC platform will always be the best option.

It gives you the most control - because Consoles are proprietary for a reason.

Dude, buy a Merriam-Webster and learn to use it.  Your misapplied appellations are both childish and foolish.  Learn what paranoia and narcissism actually mean (and how to spell them) before you use these words to denigrate someone who is actually literate.    

You are definitely NOT here to help when all you do is perpetuate that myth that NexusMods and their tools are the only answer to any modding question and the ultimate solution to every problem a user is experiencing.  That behavior, dude, is the very definition of shilling (again, use that Merriam-Webster).

Also one of the primary hallmarks of a shill is getting paid. So I need to ask nexus for a check then. 

And yes, narcissists are the ones most prone to trolling and internet attacks so it seems apt.

As for my spelling, I am logging on from foriegn travel so every word in this browser is underlined in red squiggly lines as mispelled, since its in english.

Try typing though that distraction and enjoy your own typos, in the meantime not sure whats going on in your life that is fueling your hostility to your fellow membership, but I hope it passes and I sincerely wish you the best.

Are you projecting now, dude?  You started this exchange with the trolling attack and belittling appellations.  Is your diagnosis of narcissism actually a mirror accusation?  You need to be very careful with your aspersions and insure that they do not actually reflect your behavior.   

And now, the use of colloquialisms in writing are somehow something to be ridiculed?  Is this more of your self diagnosis, or just personal animus?  I only ask about "personal animus" because this is starting to boarder on harassment, and I am sure that isn't your intent.  Or is it?

You are the one who started "casting aspersions" if you will remember? I was posting to people's "determent" in your literal on words., remember?
