Save file folders for Starfield profiles in Vortex

I'm pleased to say we are working on a Save Game feature for Starfield but I don't want to give a timescale yet as we've just released a new Vortex beta and we are dealing with a couple small things that have cropped up since.

I will say we are talking weeks and not months - a lot of the hard work has already been completed since Starfield changed the way it worked and (as always) likes to do things a bit differently to previous Bethesda games.

First iteration of this feature I wouldn't call 'management', but it is analyzing what mods you have, what plugins are expected by the save and highlighting any discrepancies. Let us know what other Save related features would be useful and we can see what we can do.

Thanks

7 months later, and the answer is likely easily found elsewhere, but maybe I am overlooking it 🙂

Does Vortex currently support multiple profiles and save management for Starfield?  (Jan 2025)

Use case.
I want a save file (group of save files) for "main playthrough" all in its gloriously modded state
Save file for testing mods - experimenting load order -etc - separate from my main file.

Perhaps I am just being dumb.

Currently it does not. Last time we looked into this, the actual game engine did not support it.

In that it would save files into the profile folder but the load game dialogue would only ever show saves from the default folder IIRC
