I want to install some mods, but they need F4SE, and I am not sure what mods I already have active may not work with F4SE. showler Posted September 8 Share Posted September 8 There shouldn't be any normal mods that don't work with F4SE. At most you might find a conflict between F4SE injecting DLLs and another mod trying to inject DLLs, but usually they will have released compatible versions to get around that. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Single F4SE mods? ----- Classic Holstered Weapons System [CHWS] - an F4SE mod to display your equipped weapon on your character ala Fallout New Vegas. There are some weapons mods that won't display properly (they will be invisible) and require edits made to the weapon .NIF files to display properly. Be aware of this when you use CHWS and look at the Requirements page to see if your weapon has a compatibility patch for it. ----- Beyond that one instance they are rare. Just double check you don't have Plugin mods trying to do the same thing as what an F4SE mod is already doing. Ex. Manual Reload [F4SE mod]. If using this and Tactical Reload - make sure Manual Reload option in Tactical Reload is disabled - the F4SE plugin is handling that already. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

VaultHuman Posted October 12 Share Posted October 12 Hello. Try not to use F4SE because this cause a very large problem, first the game crash for no reason and second many times a save can't load. F4SE need many times with a framework so the dialogues of NPC can work to a quest. Trying to download a mod, tells you if it need F4SE or not, so if you see, it needs F4SE just don't download it.
