Rev-8 ~ downward thrusters, or press the vehicle to the ground in low gravity

exactly as the title, additional thrusters on the top of the vehicle that usually by activating the sneak key that presses the vehicle down - so that the drive is more pleasant. it might be permanent on, until you prep for jump or its activated like the jump or the boost thrusters.

Yeah, I found the vehicle was pretty much useless on low-gravity bodies....... I just walk/run instead....

I find it pretty much useless everywhere since the majority of the procedurally generated terrain is so filled with rocks it's almost impossible to drive through.

I'd love it if the vehicle did not automatically deploy when you land and was instead summoned by a switch in the landing bay.  I mean land at Neon and the first thing you do is unload your car?  Makes no sense.

I enjoy the *challenge* of driving thru the rocky terrain, with an on/off switch for throttle, and very jerky steering..... I used to do a lot of off-roading, so, I am used to navigating less than ideal terrain. Some planets make it really easy, but, ya just gotta have decent gravity for it to be worth the effort.

 

I was wondering if it was any better with a controller.... Do you get gradual throttle/steering? Or is it an all or noting affair there as well?
