plumcrazy71
I'm wondering if someone can make a mod that renders all quivers invisible when equipped. Like still have arrows function as normal ,but the quiver is hidden. I would also alternatively be ok with if someone was to add a strap/belt around the torso to make it so the quivers didn't look like they're floating. I tried using the belt fastened quivers mod, but couldn't get it to work, I think its possibly because I didn't use the required skeleton. I use this body mod, which is why( Muscular Women - SE Edition at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) So, as a result, I have badly floating quivers and it looks really silly. If someone could make a mod that does either of the previously mentioned things, I'd be really grateful. I'm actually surprised something like this hasn't been made already, especially with the huge amount of mods available for this game.
Karna5
I use a combination of two mods to hide sheathed weapons and quivers: 1. Racemenu (in the windows tab you can hide most of that stuff if you wish), and 2. Lazy Item Hider - Toggle helm weapons and more at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) That Lazy Item Hider works great as well. I've been using the above two with complete success for several playthroughs.
plumcrazy71
Thank you for your suggestions, I'll check them out. I don't recall seeing an option to hide gear in racemenu, however. I remember there being an option to re size weapons and the height of my character. I also tried setting the scale of the quiver as low as it would go, thinking it would hide it completely, but it didn't.
IsharaMeradin
To hide the quiver when equipped, the quiver mesh needs to be moved inside the player body. While not impossible it would need to be done for every quiver including mod added ones. And given that each quiver is of a different shape, it will be necessary to fiddle with the exact positioning so that the quiver does not stick out of the player body in various positions. To alleviate some of those issues the quiver node within the correct mesh file can be deleted provided the central arrow (typically labeled with a 0 in the node name) remains in place. If the quiver is completely removed along with the central arrow, the player will draw a bow without a visible arrow. My Aesthetic Bolt Quivers mod for LE does this for the bolt quivers while providing a quiver that fits against the body better without popping away whenever the player performs certain animations including stealth. However, there is no SE equivalent that I am aware of. ****************** That said, looking at the mod you linked and having used the belt fastened quiver mod before on LE, I see no reason why you cannot use the correct skeleton along with the linked body mod. There is no information, that I could see, stating that the skeleton is incompatible.
plumcrazy71
I'll give the skeleton a shot then, thanks for the reply. As long as it doesn't require FNIS, as when I used that mod before, it janked up a couple of things with my game. Like when I would dual wield weapons, when I walked or ran, the weapon in my left hand would turn backwards. And it completely broke using bows in first person, like I would draw my bow and it would turn sideways to the left, and shoot out to that side, instead of where I was aiming. I could use it fine in third person, and crossbows were un affected. Edited October 5 by plumcrazy71
plumcrazy71
Well, I tried the XP32 skeleton thinking it would make the belt fastened quivers work, but it did nothing. I honestly have no idea what else to do other than just deal with floating quivers.
scorrp10
Have you gone into XPMSE MCM and selected an alternate quiver style for player and NPCs?

You shouldn't be seeing any quivers on your back, so I took a screen shot of what I meant with regard to the RaceMenu option. Unequip your quiver. Go into race menu and enable the hidden option. Then, going forward, when you equip the quiver, it will not be visible.
plumcrazy71
I don't even have those sliders at all. The only thing even close to that is sliders to adjust the size of my weapons. Like what did you download to get them? There's so many different things related to MCM related stuff that I wouldn't even know what to download.
