Vortex 1.12.6 (10/2/24)

Game: 7 Days to die.

Windoze 11

I purged my drives of everything I could find about Vortex and 7 days to die.

I re-installed the game.

I ran the 7Dlauncher.exe from the game directory and got rid of EAC and saved/launched the game to setup the game files.

I installed Vortex.

I don't put games on my system drive so I have STEAM and Vortex on my B: drive (I use A: for my Blu-Ray and B: for my games drive and C : for my system)(Had to add a space after the "C" or it gave me an Emoji).

I added a B:\Vortex_Download directory.

I Added a B:\Vortex_Staging directory.

I run Vortex and it tells me that the mods are being placed in a new place and asks me for a UDF directory, I give it the B:\Vortex_Staging directory.

In Vortex\Settings\Mods I set the staging folder to B:\Vortex_Staging directory.

Now every !@#$% time I run Vortex it has me set the UDF directory!

Where does Vortex keep it's *.ini /configuration files and how do I get it to accept the UDF that I give it?

There is a "launchersettings.json" file in AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie directory that 7 days to die makes...

{
  "ShowLauncher" : false,
  "DefaultRunConfig" : {
    "ExclusiveMode" : false,
    "Renderer" : "dx11",
    "UseGamesparks" : true,
    "UseEAC" : false,
    "UseNativeInput" : false,
    "AdditionalParameters" : "-UserDataFolder=\"B:\\Vortex_Staging\"",
    "GraphicsJobs" : true
  }
}

How the !@#$% do I get Vortex to read this and *QUIT ASKING* me for the UDF!.

Is there an *.ini /configuration file for Vortex that I need to access?

On my game drive I have...

The Steam directory.

The Vortex  directory.

The Vortex_Downloads  directory.

The Vortex_Staging  directory.

Everything all on the same drive and set in Vortex.

Do I need to add a Vortex_UDF  directory to shut Vortex up?
