tom8787
I'm seeing something strange. I have a formlist (FLST) that produces an error in xEdit. The error says "Error: record FLST contains unexpected (or out of order) subrecord ANAM 4D414E41 When I open this FLST in xEdit, I see this: LNAM FormID #0 - 04009EBB <Error: Could not be resolved> LNAM FormID #1 - SMS_Hab_TLMS_Cargo_Empty_3L3W3H (GBFM: 03000A2F) When I open the same FLST in CK, I see this: Editor ID: SMS_Hab_Nova_Cargo_Empty_3L3W1H, Form ID: fd009ebb Editor ID: SMS_Hab_TLMS_Cargo_Empty_3L3W3H, Form ID: 03000a2f) Is xEdit not reading my formlist correctly? Citadel535
I could be mistaken but xedit even on 4.1.5f needs to be updated for Starfield's file format as well newer updates that changed elements. My understanding is it's still very much a work in progress.
smr1957
As Citadel posted, xEdit is just not compatible with Starfield as of yet, and it should NOT be relied upon. In the case of any discrepancies between what xEdit shows and what the CK shows, it is always the CK that is showing the correct information. aurreth
1 hour ago, Citadel535 said: 4.1.5f F? The latest build is J, released September 1st. You have to get it from the xEdit Discord though. That being said it still doesn't like ShatteredSpace.esm and needs another update.
melvinius
CK takes 10 minutes to load. xEdit was loading for 15 minutes and then my screen went black. When everything recovered, xEdit told me it had failed to load due to memory issues. On my gaming PC. I think I'm gonna wait until these tools are refined a bit.
