Before that Yes, Genesis, King Crimson, and Beatles among others. But Rush did really test the limits of what is possible to make and took it a step further, heavier and faster and unique. I love them. Someone called Geddy Lee did try to frame me a few weeks back, but stopped when I linked him Geddy Lee fake accounts. What a jerk. I asked him 3 questions that only Geddy and true fans are able to answer and he did refuse. Rush and SAGA, knew each others from the 60's. The Saga Bass player was classmate with Alex Lifesson and they are all from Toronto. He also did lend his amp to Gerry 1969 as Gerry did not have one. Gerry? Someone called Gerry? Gerry Lee? -Why would I answer you anything? This is my private account on FB? I never heard of that jerk again. There is one record before these, but the sound is not good. Lets start at the real break through... That record is called Careless of Steel. Paul Stanley KISS did listen to it before it was released and he asked Geddy Lee -What crap is this? Make simple Rock'nRoll as you did the last album, keep it simple. Geddy still talks about that day he was grieved by Paul Stanley. What a jerk. They made maybe 20 more records. lets compare those 2 with their final record, which was back to their roots, after trying loads of different turns during their incredible career. I love playing along with this brilliant record. 2112 made it all happen. When this was made, their drummer died. They refuse to use anyone else. He also wrote all the lyrics. Thanks for the offer, but in the end I decided to buy whole album instead. I'm not registered on Youtube, and it seems that's why I can't download anything. No wonder, they where old pals from Toronto but still. It was Alex Lifesson that did invent this sound and he also became the top number 1 guitar player in the Gibson Magazine news paper every damn year. What about the SAGA guitar player Ian Crichton? He was also Unique, well is... I did talk to him 2022 and he still plays live. He talked, I just listened and nodded. I did not even got a chance to reply. Well Geddy Lee did tell ALex to just stop using this sound 5 years later when they made the record Arrows and Snakes. Geddy Lee had enough and wanted to return to the basics. Alex was pissed off. There is a video about this as the recording was recorded with a video camera and so was Alex frustrations with Geddy Lee. Never the less, they did make this record and one more with the same sound. Power Windows. Extremely unique and a test of the musicians limits. Big Money became a legendary song and the Video was played a lot. A hit. Can a so advanced song become a hit? Yes it can really. I love those TV at the cover as they are so FALLOUT!!!! What about the SAGA record? Well it was not musically so advanced, more plain, but still extremely unique made at the same time. It took me long time to like it and I love it now. I love to sing the songs, not to play them, even if I did make a cover of the main song, first song, called Listen to your heart. Did I succeed? Well, no, it is to damn hard to do it. I did play with my voices, recorded them plenty of times. SAGA did not liked my version and the fans told me to take off the echoes. Well... I did see SAGA the next year for the first time. And that concert where great, no doubt. They are good. But is that a good record? IDK!! I just love it. It was written 1977, released 1979. SAGA live is about speed, energy, positive music. Well, I get heart attacks almost every damn time I see them live. They are incredible Did I mention that I did also had a long chat with the singer Michael Sadler 2022 back stage? Well again, I did not managed to say much as he is also a talker, and you listen and nods. Damn when does he take a breath? We did walk together as well to his cab, still he talked and my ears fell off. My friend Jonas asked him, how can you smoke and still sing like you do and you are now 68 years old?? IDK!! he said... readyfready Posted November 13 Share Posted November 13 I am happy to read your praise for @DrakeTheDragon. He helped me a lot when i was bulding Hammerfell. TesaPlus was there too. Riding on a stick or a flying carpet. I built a tower and named it Drake Tower to honmour him. Drake created some chracters that would it pefect in the tower. But never appeared Drake was a serious modder/moderatot compared to others on nexusmods. Now I am trying to rebuild Skyrim in Oblivion. I feel it has come better out than expected. I use my own ideas which helps a lot - I guess. It is good to 'see' other faces from nexusmods frome those years too. I wish you all the best !! !::!
