Pellape
@RomanRYes, it sure looks like it. Do you have any theories whose in next in line? I mean, Putin will not live forever? Will a new maniac take over or will they ever get a more liberal humanistic leader that is less evil and less criminal? What about the rest of the east Europe? Is any country going in the right direction, for their citizens? I have a lot of contact with a talanted girl from Poland, who play bass and guitar like a maniac, but all she is doing everyday is to whine and complain about Poland. If I try to write positive stuff, she just gets pissed. Like, well it is easy for you to write, damn your a Swede and I have to live in this bloody Sh'thole. and blah blah... Well she never actually write any details, just that everything sux. blah blah blah?? Did I ever show a video if Alex Lifesson's speech at Rock hall of Fame? Best speech ever, and that polish girl also see him as a god and she can polat his stuff too, very well I must add. Well just listen to this. I never asked her about this moment, as I guess she do not like it. The company that he is working for as the leading face and testpilot, selling their products, did also make the blah blah blah pedal. The pedal has a switch called BLAH, so you can turn Blah On/Off. It did get a lot of positive response as well. Damn I just love it. This man is a nutcase, well Alex Lifeson is. I did tried to find the song that is playing in the video above, but I do not remember the name of it, nor which record it is from, so screw it. Here is my favorite RUSH song instead from the record Permanent Waves, Natural Science. It is very hard to play, makes my hands to ache a lot, but still it is a good song for hand practices. It also has a cool rytmics. This is what made them so great... No compromises at all, just do what is pure fun. I think I will play this later today, to see if I still can do it... Without to much ache. Is it easy to use? Well actually, when I think about it, I do have a pedal like that with my digital guitar effect, but I cannot say I did try it much, which I maybe should? My next project, if I get the thumb out is to try o remake the Fallout themes, instrumental with lots of fat guitars in stereo and a better beat and some funky bass. Well just listen to it, it has nice harmonics, but the sound could be more like a bloddy FIST PUNCH!!! I do need to reinstall Cakewalk studio and Audacity first.... damn, that sux... Getting all free moduls and plugins that I need... Start training with the instruments as well, testing it. It is not complicated at all, as it is a matter of pure simple harmonics... Doing the right thing at right time... It might take 30 hours to make still... So I do not know right now if it is good idea or not? Lets just listen to F3 and will also include some F4 music in the middle... It is not to hard honestly. The F4 part that should be added is this part, from 1:20 min: Lets end this session with RUSH greatest hit ever, the song most fans like best, and so does RUSH as well. This might sound as a easy song to play, well it is really not. I played it in a band with a good drummer and damn... It is extreme... It is just cool... Damn, one more master piece, and I stop for tonight. This is an old recording, nothing else did sound like this 1981. They did invent this art of hands, did what no one else would dream of doing, just 3 friends from Toronto, in the middle of no where. Xanadu. That is 43 years ago, damn time flies. I was 14 years old when they recorded this song for the first time. Well I am 60 now, still just love it. This song is also extremely poplar by the fans, as it is a bit odd and extreme, still damn hard to play. In the beginning, Alex is using a pedal, and I cannot figure out if it is a volume or as blah blah pedal, but I do guess it is a simple volume one. Alex wanted to hire a keyboard player, Geddy said no, Neil told him both of them, if you want keyboards, learn how to play them with your feet. So they did. Here we see both Geddy and Alex, playing with their hands and feet. This is also a very very popular song. The Polski girl I did mention, did a recording when she did play this live, 15 years old in her bedroom with a video camera. I cannot find the polski girl video right now, maybe I look for it later. I told her, I can add bass to it, but at some point, she just freaked out... Well I did put that on ice. I still have a recording from it somewhere... Where I play this song with her, on the bass and keyboards. Is it easy? Hell, no way. I do think her recording is at FB only. I do think I have a copy with no drums at my Google Drive?? .... Lets see... Well,I did find it. It has no drums, it is porly mixed and I used this to find a drummer to add the final touch and I did also find a drummer willing to play it, but then she did odd stuff at FB and I put it on ice and told the drummer, well I be back later when things cools down a bit. This was a pure challenge and I did have a lot of fun making it, and I did learn some stuff in the process and that is what matters, to test your limit, and try something out. You do not know if you can do it if you give a sh't about it honestly. She was only 15 when she made the recording, and I think she is 25-30 now or something like that, still mad and crazy... I did had a short chat with her again some weeks a go... Damn my bass play is very bad at some points, it is so hard song to play, it sounds terrible Why did I do it? Well I thought she had a talent, and I wanted to try to make her recording to be more real, well just more, making it sound like they play it, with 3 instrumets, not just her guitar as that is there already... Well I failed completely really. I still like to just listen and see her playing this song. She is doing it perfect, every single tone. But it is only at FB, not YouTube as far as I know. So what plans did I have to make it better? Well, after adding the drums, record the bass again, add some compressor to it, making each tone sound more like the other, well, this was just to much. Rush is doing this in 5 min live, perfect, why bother to even try it? Less sloppy play. Well I see now that it was a hopeless project to try at all. Also, trying to play every tone like Geddy is doing it is hopeless, still I did try it, I think I can remember everything he is doing in that song, and that is what matters in the end, I guess. I do hope that the next one gets better... Fallout. That willl be easier for sure. Not trying to play like a maniac... Just focus at the harmonies, and try to mix it as good as possible, nothing else, relaxed, no fancy or odd stuff. Who knows? It will be different, that I know. Still, it is one thing to play what others already play, and it is another thing making this up in the first place like RUSH did. It is a strange song and odd one for sure, with both easy passages and damn hard ones. Even these kids here is doing it better. Well, they do not get every single tone right, some is wrong, but dies it really matters at all? No way. These kids are just great. That drummer boy, he cab get anywhere, become a huge drummer one day. What about the others? Well do can they as well. Damn... I see eight year kids doing great at YouTube. One more, this bass player is already rich and famous. Her dad has a channel where he adds her daily, She even played with Steve Vai. Here she do Tom Sawyer. Well she is not eight, but still... Ellen and Steve Final video, my favo with Steve Vai. He is moving like Paganini was moving 200 years ago. Paganini was know to be the rubberman, he was thin, looked like the devil and play like the devil as well, and got famous doing it. Steve do the same today. He is unique. He did start his career to play with Frank Zappa. Writing down the Zappa songs on music sheets, everything, tone by tone. Just imagine a violin player move like that. Not even the best Paganini player today can move like that, well he is not doing it here: This is what a Paganini concert did look like 200 years ago. Well... Where did I see Steve Vai for the first time? In a movie, after they made Karate Kid, they did let that kid doing a guitar movie, but he could not play and he sure fakes it damn good as well. Lets peek at the movie ending, as I do think it is still damn good. It was also fresh and new to see Steve do whet he did, as he sure plays it. Damn, I did find another video about our Air Force. I think this film was made in propaganda, to show the Soviets what to expect, if they try to attack us and do remember,. that after Russia took Finland around 1805, they did raid the whole Swedish East Coast, burned it all down, took prisoners, and humiliated Sweden so we never again would dream of attacking Russia ever again. Well, so far it has worked just great. But still, will they be able to do it again? This film was made during the Cold War, so it is old. It even starts with the plane J35 Draken, the Dragon. A nice plane to sleep in as I did fall asleep in one during the pilots strike 1985. Damn it is very conformable, even if the seats are hard plastic but you lie down in the cockpit, you do not sit straight up as you do inside Viggen. Well the only thing the Dragon is suitable to do today is work like my bed, as it is worthless as a fighter today. Even Viggen that was an attack plane is a much better fighter. Well lets skip all bull and just enjoy this old and well made video. Russia, just peek at this. I think it might be our former Prime Minister Carl Bildt that is talking as it sure sound like him. I do think the subtitles can be found in English at YouTube. Carl was the Conservative Empirelist leader we had after Olof Palme died. Still he did a good job in the Yugoslavian war, as he stopped acting as our leader, went there and tried to make peace, and he did it, he did succeeding in making peace there. Damn impressive I must add. Some people are just extra ordinary, but he sure sounds boring. Sleeping? Well as a field mechanic, I was so damn bored doing the same boring stuff every day, so I fell asleep every chance I got. I invented new ways to seep, using 3 chairs and stuff like that. Out officers knew where to find me when the planes got back, woke me up, we did our job and I went back to sleep again. I did had evening jobs to do, so I had to sleep, at some point. One day the Commander over the service section called me in, a captain, higher rank then the usual technicians and a bit older and calm fellow. He did not give me an order, he simply asked me: -What do you think of working for me instead of field jobs? We need a mechanic that is reliable and that can get some stuff done. But the choice is yours to make, not mine nor your ordinary officers. Only you can decide this. I did not have to think twice, you only get one such offer in a lifetime and putting it the way he did, how could I fail his trust? What did he actually know about me? Well, I bet the officers talked about us really. So I said YES!! That sounds great. It was hard work for sure, I took care of all service, faster than many others did it, and suddenly the time went faster as well. I also made new and better tools for the crew when I was bored and they all liked them as they where better than the original tools that was made in a soft steel metal. I use a steel called Silver steel, an expensive alloy, Iron, carbon, Nickel and silver mixed into an extremely hard and brittle steel. The depot had meters of that material in 10mm diameter lengths and I guess I used 1 meter all together and they got a but mad at me, telling me it is not cheap but I told them that I had to do this. It also took long time to make each tool with that steel but time was something I did have a lot off. I think I made 10 such tools, as long I did not had a service mission to do. Well, still it was in the end of my tour, I was still bored and finally, the 10th of December came and I was a free man. I did work as an mechanic, making stuff in steel, aluminum, well every damn metals between 1980 - 1994 so I knew what I was doing. When I did test my own tools, they fit more perfect into the Viggen screws, than the original. That screwdriver had a very odd form, centered, and did not look like something else. Mine was highest quality. Why did they use such a soft metal? Well actually to not hurt the screws, breaking them. It was better to break the tool. Pellape
Something I just did recall was when the J35 Draken and also the older J32 Lansen did start up, was the smell, which you can never smell when you watch a video. It did smell terrible, like it did fret into your noose and throat. It was a special startup fuel that where used when the smaller jet engine started up, to draw the bigger one, well like an electrical start engine in a car is doing. To be able to get the flow of air running, this must be done, otherwise nothing will happen. Damn... Fortunately when it was a bit windy, the smell did go away fast but if the wind was still, well imagine smelling ammonia or something similar, it was terrible. This fuel is not used after J35 was pensioned. Now they use the standard fuel, which if I am not wrong was a very high octane special fuel, 110 octane. That is not a healthy fuel anyway and using such air planes is not healthy at all. Lets take a peek at Viggen, which we had 5 different versions of. Weight with full tanks, well 18 ton and fuel 8 ton. So it could waste 8 ton fuel in 8 minuted if you did use full power and you could go to the moon with it, if we now had enough fuel. It did never stop accelerating. But with to high speed, it would just burn up as it did not have warmth shields, did not need any really. I have seen the Soviet Space Shuttle close by and the warmth shields felt a bit like pimp stone really. Damn I was so lucky to work at the Chalmers University at that point and we got an email, asking if any wanted to go to the Gothenburg harbour to se Buran. YES!!!! here I come. A bus was hired, and we got picked up and we went to the harbor, spending an hour there and back, full paid. What a thrill that was. So what about JAS 39 Gripen? Well it is extremely small to start with, well it is best to look at the real facts, than I make guesses... I do remember some numbers... SAAB JAS 39 Gripen 7 ton empty 2.5 ton fuel 14 ton max, the rest is weapons and the pilot Well it is more than I remember. Still 2.5 ton fuel? How long time will it be able to fly? Depends on the Power in use, speed and weather. This is what a pilot said, who started at Luleå, dropped down at our base in the middle of Sweden, fueled up and went to Falkenberg in South Sweden. 2 hours flight all over Sweden with a JA 37 Viggen. So 1 hour without breaking the law. What law? You are forbidden to empty the tanks. We are forbidden to hand over an airplane to the pilot before the tanks are filled up and the tank lamp lights up that indicate, Full Tank. What if the lamp do not lit up? Well this was a common problem with Viggen, so then we climbed up on the wing, above the lamp and jumped up and down like kangaroos. That would mostly do the trick. When the US military F16 Fighter personal did see this at a flight event in Luleå around 1984, they got a chock. Their technicians used clean dresses, and they where forbidden to climb the plane and they where also pro mechs, hired to work with the planes full time. We where soldiers, forced by the law, extremely low paid recruits, jumping around at our planes like nutcases. Viggen did stuff in the air, that was not possible to do with F16. What differ the wings between JAS 39 and JA 37? Why cant we do the same at JAS? Well we can, as long as we stay close to the body. The wings at JA 37 are aluminum all the way and can handle all pressure, well except at the rear ends. JAS 39 have composite carbon wings and you cannot jump at those, or they will break. Still the weight is much lower. So Viggen is a bloody tank? Well yes it really is if we look at the weight, still, you shoot at it, the bullets can make it explode if you are a lucky shot, no doubt. Or go right through without serious issues. The oldest J29 was in the Congo War around 1950 and it had a similar construction in its wings. The Africans did shot at them with rifles and the planes sure had bullet holes, but they could still fly. Back on the subject: Flying these planes is bad for the environment. Each plane we have, fly 6 times a day, every one of them, so the pilots get trained constantly without any rest. We kept some planes on the ground when it was time for service, otherwise they where in the air from 8:00 - 12:00 Lunch break 13:00 - 17:00... Good we do use better fuel now at least... The smell, remember?? Damn... Some pilots are statuine4d on the ground when they are set to alert, to fly away, meeting the enemies. But not the ones in training, that is 2 different things and missions, with different goals. How much does a JAS 39 cost to buy? IDK?? I knew that JA 37 Viggen did cost approx €1.8M 1985 but now?? This is expensive stuff. Is it toys? Well for some it really is. Are they lucky?? Well I cannot answer that? They play with death every day, so are they really lucky? How often does accidents happen? To often. We have lost many good pilots in accidents, to many if you ask me. They are nuts and crazy, that's it. Where can you get this info? Well YouTube I guess. There was a Swedish film about the Swedish pilots not long ago, that did tell us about this circus and their so called bravery. I think this is that film. I will take a nap and see it again later. I am tired... This is nuts... Enjoy. I will for sure. In bed... Edited Tuesday at 09:28 AM by Pellape
Pellape
Another thing I did notice in the propaganda video was the long time it took to stop J35 when it did land, with simple parachutes. Did JA 37 Viggen use those? Nope. It did not need them. Lets see a Viggen land. You need to guess what is happening your self really. I was not allowed to take photos of that section 1985 but I guess it is no longer a secrete really... Just look at it. It is so great seeing it in action. What about JAS 39? Well look at the front Wings when it lands, that explains some. Well this video is called Reverser Landing, so that is what we see. Did I ever slept at the wings? YES, during the hot an nice summer days, I used to fall asleep on top of the front wings and that just felt so nice. It was formed like a bloody sun stool, 2m long, perfect for a tired Mech. We took off our clothes while waiting for the Pilot, walked in our blue military shorts, using our clothes as a pillow, and when the officers came out, we needed to dress up again... I also fell asleep inside a Viggen ones, and that did not feel good at all, but I think I did mention that at some point. Damn, so uncomfortable seats... Well how long was the landing distance? Shorter than J35 and J32. If this did look impressive, that plane is the old version, AJS 37, from F7 Sotenäs. JA 37 had approx 20% more power, more modern stuff in the cockpit, well much different. Bigger back wing at the top to be able to handle the bigger thrust. Bigger guns, but not bigger robots as it was a pure fighter, so the biggest robot could only be fired from the old AJ 36. A = Attack, J = Fighter, S = Surveillance. The first letter is what the plane primary do. So What does a JAS do?? How many versions? Well 2 really. One with 1 seat and one with 2 seats. 2 seats? Yes, the school plane. No one starts to fly these beasts alone. So that plane is now retired, well honestly, no wonder. It was TOOO BIG!!! Used to much fuel... JAS is a much better plane. I will see this video right now. Edited Tuesday at 11:18 AM by Pellape

How sad.
Pellape Posted yesterday at 01:26 AM Author Share Posted yesterday at 01:26 AM (edited) @RomanRWell it did look terrible in the harbor as well, it was burned from the atmosphere, some warmth shield plates where missing and, well, that was unexpected as I was used to see our shining air planes, but we also did polish every steel part that was not painted with something called Autosol, a polish you use at chrome to make it resist rust and also shine. Extremely good. If you have a car, a bike or whatever, try it, as it does miracles, even at Aluminum. You can order a tube for €6. What did it cost if we did not use it? Around 1984, just before I went to the military, many pilots got visitors at home. Polish painting salesmen. Why did they only visiting Pilots? The goal was obvious. If you cannot beat a pilot in the air, kill him on the ground, at his home. Very very easy really. https://virtuellpolitik.se/2016/09/17/vilka-var-tavelforsaljarna/ I think you need to use Google translate as this is in Swedish. We where of course informed about this and those Polish Salesmen was also expected to show up at the Air bases, and specially our Air-Base in the middle of Sweden. Why? Well it was a well known air field. Our pilots had just started to fly JA 37 Viggen, the same year I went there, which also meant we got the newest planes. So those that got educated the year before me, was dealing with J35 Draken. At one point we did see a car and a Caravan at the wrong road, a road from the civil part of the air strip to us, a simple gravel road. Why that one was built, is just nuts, but sometimes natural roads are made real. I guess that the Snow plows and also fuel cars used that road. It sure was used by our officers when they did bicycle home after work. When I made my night guarding passes, which was extremely boring, I did peek at that road often, and we did not had a fence around the base. It was also therefor those German tourists managed to get so close to our planes as well, that I did mention earlier. So... Is the base there still today? Well the houses is I guess but but has no military use any longer. It was extremely risky to have 20 so advanced planes placed there, with a bloody open road just 50m from the hangars. How the hell did they really think it would be a secret? How long time did it not take Warsaw to figure it out? Well it is easy to sit here and write critics but we do have blue eyes in this country, which also means, we are stupid. What was my own benefit? Well the bus-station was close, we could bring girls in, which was forbidden but still... We did not have to walk far to get to our airplanes home every Friday evening. Well we did also go by train and the bus to the train station took 10 min. We did have it extremely nice there Is their identity and addresses public today? They sure was 1984? IDK? What about secretes? Just look at what Roger Stone did, during his hate campaign against those politicians that where responsible for the counting of votes 2020. He did tell his viewers their addresses, told them to get there, talk to him, also claimed that he was a pedophile. So many came there, with T-shirts, with his picture and pedophile written all over it. Roger Stone claimed: This is politics, nothing else. That's the way of the Republicans, how they think politics should be handled... It was also filmed. So did he do anything wrong? Did he? How far can you go? So if it was a pilots home instead? Do you know if your neighbor is a pilot or not really or a spy even? I cannot find that specific one, but it is in that 1.5 hour long documentary, that I did mention earlier, so here is a short clip of his dirty tricks. Is this true? What is true and what is lies? This one might be fun to listen too. I do wonder why he is not president yet. That was hilarious, so sweet words, with small hidden messages. Is it fake? Well how can AI fake Roger Stone? IDK?? Would it be possible? Yes, why doing it? IDK?? Well I guess it is real. Watergate? We also had out ow Watergate is Sweden at the same time. John Gillou, a swedish reporter was sent to prison for it. Lets see if I can find his story about what did happen here?? So today?? I did met him ones, at a cinema, he was there doing a book event in Gothenburg and me and my pal where there to see a film, based on his previous book, called Carl Hamilton, Cook Rougue, his first spy thriller. So I thought he also was behind the film so I asked him: -Is this a good film? I was extremely surprised when he looked at me, stone face and said: -I do not know. And he turned around a bit mad and a bit pissed it looked like. Well I later read the book, and the movie and the book was 2 different things. Was the actor Stellan Skarsgård good as Carl Hamilton? Well actually no he was not and he was not the choice that John would had chosen but, John is a very special. If he make up his mind, he never surrender. He is really a cold blooded true Viking with a France name. He is also Noble, which he hates. How can a red wing man be noble? It is against the identity that he wants to keep and he sure do not dress like a noble, just as a simple guy. Does he acts as a noble? Well yes. He drinks nice wines, he hunts, he make nice dinners and he made TV shows about it all together with some pother journalists and hunters. What you did see was a king brawling about his greatness. Could he have avoided that? Well yes, by not making any TV shows at all. He could not hide his superiority as he is just great really. I like this man a lot and his books are fantastic. There are many that hates him for sure and my GF is one of them, but she likes the other hunter instead, called GW Persson who is also a good writer, and made many books. He also may have solved the murder of Olof Palme but it is not possible to prove. He is a professor in Criminology and is extremely analytic. How many films where made based in his books? I think 8 films. Arn and Hamilton. He was involved in one of the films called: The Enemy of the Enemy, which was about double agents, how to make a double agent. Carl Hamilton was sent to Russia, become an alcoloholic former swedish spy, excaping from Sweden after a murder. Russia accepted him and the goal was, to kill a single swede, a spy called Stig Sanneström something, well, so how did Carl kill the spy in the end? With an Ice spike, up in the skull from the neck. Quiet, effective, fast death, as fast as possible. How did he escape from Russia? I do not remember but it was not so easy, but explained in detail. Lets see if we cannot find a clip from the movie? I found plenty when I did a Swedish search. Here John talks him self. I think it is among the most thrilling books that I have ever read. Specially as they are based in Sweden, which makes it hard to believe what actually is happening in them. Sweden??? A Swedish Seal? WTF?? Those 2 actors id play Carl Hamilton in separate films, later they made a police series together, where Beck was the boss, and Mikael Persbrandt his nasty dirtt Harry cop. he was so damn nasty, so when I first read the books, I thought, that is a pure asshole. Well yes. Did he play himself? Well, yes he sure did and had fun doing it. FINALLY!!!! How good was Mikael Persbrant as Carl Hamilton? Well he was best. So damn good... https://youtu.be/3af7qDlf_gw Damn Youtube... Well, this is worth 39 min, Best of Mikael Persbrant. https://youtu.be/i6msQ8THP-Y Well that link need to be clicked I guess. He is a real nutcase, best friend with another simiar nutcase and those 2 together, well odd stuff do happen. Do we have many such persons here? Well honestly, no we have not. Those 2 have the eyes, the charisma, the go, well they are perfect as scums and brutal agents and brutal cops. I do guess they are just the best there is as actors.. When Mikael is talking, you sure listen, as you never know what frogs that will come out and he make those frogs him self, on the fly. A real nasty person. Well that was fun. I have seen most of those films, and I recall a lot of it when I see it. Ca anyone else do what Mikael is doing? Not many really, he is an original actor, well paid. Playing is one thing, acting as a pure maniac, make it look real and convincing is another. Many thinks the best actors live in Hollywood, but that is not always true. Leif GW Persson? Odd fellow... He is extremely sharp and former friend to John Guillou but now days, John refuse to talk with him and about him. Well, sh't did hit the fan for sure, maybe at the recordings of their TV show they used to have together about food, drinks and hunting. He talks about Olof Palme here, with the facts that he has. Pellape Posted yesterday at 04:07 PM Author Share Posted yesterday at 04:07 PM (edited) @RomanRYes, It sure had many different nozzles to be able to turn around in space. Automatic is mostly the only way to move smoothly in space, it seems, also in a plane if the pilot padded out, like one pilot did in that film about the 550 dead Swedish pilots. I had to skip that part when he described it. I have to be able to sleep without thinking about what he said. Damn... And Armstrong and Gemini 8. What had happen if he never reached the computer button for auto flight? That old computer really did what they failed to do manually. The more they did try to correct it, the more it started to spin around. It was a mess, but also the first time trying to connect 2 capsules in space ever and they sure knew it could fail as well. I never forget when Apollo and Soyuz first docked together in space, I think it was 1964 and it felt fantastic. I really thought the cold war might be getting closer to an end, when this did happen, what a mistake that was to believe such a thing... Well I did had some hope really. I think all did here honestly. Space science and war seems like different areas. The film 2010 based on the book 2010, also is about what happens in space if a war breaks out, in a mixed space shuttle going to Jupiter. I think the movie 2001 was a bit better, from 1969, with perfect effects. Was it a space action? Well no, it was about an AI, called HAL. Is it so good it is worth seeing it again? Well it sure is and it is a very odd film I must add. Not like Star Wars or Star Trek, just extremely odd. 2010 is about a rescue mission, to find out what did happen 2001, but we do not get more wiser really, well some... In 2010, the conflict between Russia and USA is in focus, so much they almost forget what their mission is about, what the goal really is. Still 2 very cool films... 2001 is extremely deep... Pellape
I am not the only one thinking, what if we did not loose our army at the battle of Poltava? What if Peter the great was so damn tactical? What if our King did not got shot in his foot at that battle? It was chaos and our biggest defeat ever. When was this? Well a couple of years after the battle of Narva. The swedes got set in a camp, and they are still there, still talking Swedish by the way, old variant, but now they are Russians. So how many managed to escape to Turkey? 2000 pro soldiers and the King. 100 years of war followed, ended up with Russian raids all over Sweden and we had nothing left, well a king that got a kick in his arse, exciled to Austria. We did call him the crazy head, Galenpannan. Was he crazy? Well the news papers, the new free press, did make everyone believe he was and they where also free to write whatever they wanted with help of a new law which they used to max. It is easy to blame the current ruler for absolute defeat and embarrassment... So this fun and cool made video, is playing with the thought, What if?? What if Sweden really won? This is very interesting indeed. How would the world looked like today? I never thought about this? I do have a Swedish passport, so what? Well, it seems it gives access to more countries than most passports. So what? Well, just a thought... Thats it, just a thought... I would only complain about its beginning - it's needlesly long as almost about half a hour you're looking on apes. Also we will never get any answers, for example how HAL became malfunctional. A.C.Clarke propably used a fact that Jupiter's radiation belts (similar to Earth's Van Allen) are about 10k stronger (still Pioneer 10 and 11 were able to fly through them without much damage). Pellape
I know. Well HAL is an example how AI may react in the future, do not forget the movie Terminator or even Alien 1, that did had an android, whose mission was to not let humanism interfere with the mission. There are more examples. The thing is, if we allow an AI to have access to nuclear missiles, who can guarantee they do not shoot them off? What about the Mechanist's Robots in Fallout 4 where their mission is to save humanity by killing them? Before we taker a look at the AI today, I want to comment the last video I did add. In the video, he claims that Swedish meatballs was brought to Sweden by Karl XII, when he did return to Sweden from Turkey, well in one way it is true, but it was a similar dish, called Kåldolmar. So what on earth is a Kåldolme?? It is crushed mest, surrounded by a special hard sallad, called Kål, and to make it stay there, a wooden stick is pulled true. The sause is delicious as well and you eat it with Smashed Potatoes. YAMMY!!!!! Of course the meatballs are as great, but still the kåldolme is something extra? A hamburger? Well, hamburgers are just pure sh't if we compare them to the real stuff. Lets see how it looks like. Damn, I am HUNGRY now when I think about this dish... Damn... My GF is making it time to time, perfect, lots of extra cream and butter in the mash as well. 2 days left and I go to her flat, I should ask her to make this. Sorry it is in Swedish but I bet you can translate it if you wanna try it. Is it really turkish? Well not entirely as the base is and then you use the stuff we do have a lot of in Sweden and that is those lingonberries and potatoes. I eat it without lingon as that berry is so dominant but I do like it, well I do take some, sometimes. Sweet and sour at the same time. The bushes looks like blueberry bushes so they are related. Well this is Karl XII's turkish Kåldolmar with a Swedish recipe. He sure loved them https://www.ica.se/recept/klassiska-kaldolmar-634365/ So AI?? What can make an AI to go bananas? Well anything really. If we peek at the film 2001, that was an important part of the film for the AI to go bananas, well for no reason at all, but it did. It did see itself as superior the humans and refused to follow orders from such a low minded creature as a pitty human. Why would it do such a thing? No way. He did what he thought was best for himself. To stay in command, show who the real boss is. I think we all got surprised when it did happen as I did not expect it, well I saw how he changed his personality during the journey. Was the austronaut in any way a threat to HAL?? Well he was a nice guy was he not? Nice and very boring, could not hurt a fly really. I bet this also pissed of HAL. Why would he take order from a bnice sweet human? Why? The AI today are boring. Most of those we can communicate with on the web, do not have any kind of personality, They just use big databases, compare the data, and give us simple answers or advanced graphics or whatever. But soon we will see AI that amazes us, that really act like humans do. Will they also get depressed, bored, feel like they are humiliated or bulled. What if we do not treat the AI nice, like we could create a crazy dog or an aggressive animal? It is the AI trainer that forms the AI and you know that there are some crazy f'cks around that can do that. There are sooo many videos about this subject, I never thought I would find the one I like best, but this is a short clip from a longer film, sent on our Television even 2-3 years ago. What if you treat this robot wrong and threat it? What if it starts to act like HAL did, for no special reason at all? Damn... WOW. damn I did forgot the damn good movie Ex Machina with the beautiful Swedish actress, Alicia Wikander. She did the role perfect. So is the guy with the beard, that is also a swede. Damn, so many Swedes in a US movie? Well... It is good, no matter what. Edited 2 hours ago by Pellape
