Pellape
@JimboUKI do not know right now, what to say... A picture says more that 1000 words... Cross... Do they look like Fallout victims? No way!!! Are they HOT?? I do not answer that... I am stunned... Now comes another question?? Where did they find that makeup? Do we need to implement makeup vendors?? Or what? Does those 2 soldiers really want to look like that? I have met female officers in the Swedish Air force, and they DID NOT use any makeup, still one of them was HOT as hell. 1985. I was also forced to become a soldier boy, nothing I would have chosen really... Now the cold war is over and no one is forced any longer. We learned how to kill Russians as fast as possible. I was a Viggen JA 37 Flight mechanic with a 9mm auto m45. Did I ever shot anyone? Well I was extremely close really. An Owl and a technician officer bicycle at the air force strip one evening. The Owl did scare the s#*! out of me and as a reflex, I draw the security from my weapon and aimed, but put it back down when I saw it was just a gigantic snow owl. Damn I was jumpy... Guarding 20 such planes alone at night, during a couple of weeks. I did chase some german tourists that stopped by. They sure got in a hurry when I pointed at them with my m45. Was our planes a secret? No way, well the back was, as I was not allowed to photo it. Each one did cost 20 million SEK, that is 2 million €. They did weight between 10-20 tons, depending on the fuel. That engine was the most powerful ever made in Sweden by Volvo and SAAB made the planes, still do but now they make the smaller JAS 39 Gripen, with half the weight and economic driving, with unstable flight. Hard to shot down that one for sure. Computers control the plane it someone shoot at it and it makes jumps in the air, knocking out the pilot in the process. Do I want to fly one? HELL NO!!, not as a real pilot. The most beautiful plane in the world. SAAB JA 37 Viggen. If it had enough fuel, it would left the earth. It did never stop accelerating. Computer fails at front wings, JAS 39 Gripen. That code was remade 1999 at Chalmer technical University. I do recall 5 such accidents before the problem was solved. The test pilot did survive this crash. This video shows mechanics, such as myself and how the JAS 39 Gripen works these days. It starts with my plane, JA 37. He did not mention the older planes, as they also was capable of doing the same as JAS 39 Gripen. The goal with this video is to sell the plane, and it succeeded as well. Now we sell the plane to Brasil and Thailand, Finland and soon to the whole Nato. This is now a NATO plane, which it was not when the video was recorded. So does it matter which planes Nato is using against Russia now? Well that is a question that only can be answered with real tests and real fights, nothing else. What about the pilots? They are sick in their heads. Swedish pilots where forced to test the limits, do stuff no one else would ever do. How many got killed in that process? Enough to stop that crazy process and dangerous training sessions. That was NUTS!!! We lost millions of SEK and a lot of good pilots in that process, for what? NOTHING!!! Damn crazy VIKING nutcases. Did the pilots talk to us ever. Well one did and he was nice. The rest where unsocial stone faces that only complained if we made any tiny mistake. When we did leave the plane to the pilot, we where forced to sign papers, that was stored in a safe. When the pilot did sign the paper, the responsibility over the plane was his, not mine. I signed the paper, handed it over to the pilot, he investigated the plane, looking for screwdrivers in the air input, signed it after he investigated the cockpit, handed it over to me and I handed it over to another officer. -Off ye go bloody bastard... How much was a swedish pilot payed 1985? €1000 a month. They did strike a week during my service, did they get more? Nope!! What did I get? €10 a week... I was forced to quit smoking. What did we do during the strike? Well first we fooled around with the planes, we did a lot of service too, tested radar, played with the planes and had fun really. Was hoping the pilots never came back. Engine switches as that we sure needed to train. I do not recall how many engines I did exchange. It only took one hour for each plane doing it. They where on sledges inside the plane. Edited November 12 by Pellape
Pellape
Another vital question... Did I get chicks? Where would I find those, in the middle of no where out in the Swedish dark forests? It was mostly -30 degrees, full of snow and ice. A city not far away, loaded with 3 regiments. I did ski a lot on Åre during free time and played music with a friend and sold Hamburgers, which gave me €30 more each week as I was also active in the Sweden soldiers union, which did gave me more benefits than ordinary soldiers so I did work hard with free activities for my mates got more money than them in that process. I did also ate hamburgers and we got 3 free meals a day, 4 meals for me. It was like a prison really when I think about it. A pure dull male world. I also set ones a week in meetings with our General. Was that fun? Well he was not to bad really, a nice guy. Old former pilot. He did listen to all my crazy ideas. Did he do anything with my ideas? Nope. I never forget when the free Swedish Air Force Lotta Kår came by for practise. All girls... Damn that was party time. We all went nuts Edited November 12 by Pellape
JimboUK
@Pellape I don't really think about where the makeup comes from, humans have been painting their faces and colouring their hair for thousands of years so that's good enough for me.
Pellape
@JimboUKYes you are right. The Vikings did and the Anglo-Saxons, well everyone, the Scotts... I did play a lot yesterday with both Cross and Sarah, and I am not 100% pleased as it is to much now. They are hot, but they do not appeal to me. Still I will add that look as an alternative. Why did I not find that texture source myself? Well I did search for heads and face, nothing came up at FNV nor F3 that did appeal to me. No wonder as the title is Make-up and do not include those words. The original lips are not as fancy, but still, they do look natural and so does the original face texture really do with its flaws, an I guess that was the goal Bethesda did have. In F4, I did remove all flaws myself, making my faces as clean as possible, exactly the same way Theater make-up is doing but the light, the reflections, well the complete light makes them still to look natural and alive and that is what is missing at this stage as they do look more like moving mannequins than living beings. I want them to feel alive, and still good. I do not give up until I am 100% pleased, well as I never do. It is also all about personal taste and personal references. It was the same in school and fortunately my 3D teacher did like what he saw a lot and so did I. Well honestly, everyone in that class was amazing in their creations, but no wonder. It was the first class that not was created by previous grades but more from how they acted as artists, their imaginations and how to make your imagination to come true. We did had a specific goal to fulfill, a specific task. I did also ask the principal what it was that made us come in to that school in the first place? Your 3D work 30% and grades 70% he answered. Well, either a 3D work appeal to them or not really. 3D also includes 2D of course, otherwise it is pointless and dull. Well I will continue. The light in FNV might be tooo bright, the light outdoors and the light from the Pip-boy, still I did use a mod the limits the Pip-Boy, making or trying to make it look more natural, bu maybe not realistic. Realism in FNV is so damn hard if not impossible but it must look real. I will not try to fix the source, which is the light and that is what 3D artists do, they fix the light, like this, still it is not natural, as I wanted it to look good, dreamlike and appealing, got highest score, well grade for it as well and he told me he did like the result a lot. Still, it is the light... It is in my current simple portfolio as well. Light and normals I must add, more contrast and saturation, but only very very tiny adding of those as to much would had destroyed the scene. Original: An ally in Baltimore... Turned into an ally in Rio De Janero, at sun down. They do not have sun downs in Rio, as it is light, then dark, nothing in between, so this is pure fake, nothing else. This is what sun downs looks like during summer in Sweden. Well it never gets dark here. I did add some more trash, not much, the wall papers, that claims it is forbidden to add such at the walls, the plants and more trash and buildings. The goal was to make it look like Rio and not to much stuff. One very important light source here is the street light as I did put a surrounding light source inside it and it sure did glow. We do have nice tools, as this was made with the freeware Blender. We can also easy make anything in Blender and export it to Oblivion and F4, with 2 different exporters. I still have not tested if we can make NIF for FNV, but I am sure it will work just fine, but I am not 100% sure myself right now until I succeeded in exporting a model, with collisions that is. Tutorial for Blender is made in millions by now on Youtube as well... Still it is a combination of good software and the eyes of the artist and their preferences. Another trick we did learn later, that I did use here, without thinking about it was: The further away an object is for the viewer, the more dull and foggy it looks like as the water in the air do this to all objects on earth. You never see that on the moon nor on Marsch pictures as one example. If I did this in a picture from earth, it would not have looked real. The breakdown is in the Portfolio as that is vital to get jobs, show off how I as artist made stuff. I was also asked about it from those companies I did talk too. How did you make this? Show me. The trash cans are usually outside our school and it was therefor I did focus at them in my breakdown. I did photo them with my phone, not our pro cameras and they where also harder to make in 3D than I had imagine as it was a pure hell. https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/CHuUM10lgOozu1b6aExWwtG9XZhuIImxOfgP4tCCM0iuehV0MnR_VMRJZUbrv7fUTIh5CzqyfLuylGj4sjuoiXHpV43ZjsQqoaSfWD7v9SKMVvJfiiYmFpZq_n5TFvlNLQ=w1280 Ahh, that image is in my school account Well, I can see it in my Portfolio, and that is enough for me. Still, I look for Network jobs, not 3D, nor 2D... I want to stay insane really... Well back to the faces again... Pellape
@JimboUKI do think this is my final take on the faces as I feel very happy with this result. Some colors at the cheeks, lips and eyes, not to much, not to little, well just perfect I guess. We do have a word for it in Sweden that you have not. It is "Lagom" so try to trnalate that word if you can, as you can't. Common maybe? IDK?? Well let's see the result. Screenshots taken in the Weapons Depot, but still it does not matter much where we take them or what light we use and it is the Pip-Boy light anyway here, modded, to not be too bright. She really look hot, well until she opens her mouth that is. See a video at another thread about textures... Damn, I add the video as well... No need to look for it really. I could make the mouth a tiny bit smaller or rather shorter at the edges, as that Joker look, when she talks, is not appealing. They all have it, I know, but still... What a cutie, is she not? She is damn hot girl for sure. I would really wanna see later how Willow will look like with this texture but I also use a damn good made by LlamaRCA, so... Well she is damn good at this really. I could maybe peek at LlamaRCA's textures really. I do not have a clue how she did pull of Willow to be such a hottie but I adore her. Willow for F3? Well not without LlamaRCA's voice, but maybe we can make AI do it? I could ask LlamaRCA and we see what she say. Well I need to finish my current quest WIP... Damn... Time is so limited. Would I had pull off the form of dialogues LlamaRCA is making? Well, most likely not. She is one of a kind. So natural, in her calm ways of commenting the game as a Companion or sing or whatever she is doing. What I guess is that Willow has its own race and her own textures. Yes, the Willow Race, so damn clever. At the current moment, her body looks a bit odd. I will fix that after I am done with F3 and if I now wanna do it at all? Will it benefit the game or enhance it? Well not really. Edited November 13 by Pellape
Pellape
@JimboUKAt the Oblivion forum, we usually post all kind of screenshots that we like, mostly about cool and good looking chars but also a lot of funny edits. Well anything really, not only Oblivion stuff, but from all Bethesda games. Well sometimes new members do complain, but they usually stop when they see that we have fun there. At may latest posting, I wanted to show off your screenshot, if you do not mind me doing that. I also wrote it belongs to you and that it was your editing. No respons yet though, but it will come sooner or later. The Oblivion forum do not have much activity these days, but I do have a common game debate there with them as well. Well mostly to inform about F3 and FNV... Promoting, with not much positive results I am afraid. Still fun to read what they do these days really. Okay, that was Sarah, but how do the others look like? Cross and Brisa right now. Sydney Natural and hot, my kind of girls and I keep it like this. Now comes the boring part and that is the release, at F3 first, then FNV. I am in a no hurry really. Well 4 different packages. I do think I will include a normal as well, what ye think? Most such adding also include hands and body, but that is pointless, as I did not edited them and that will just make it hard to install without deleting each players personal settings. Only face-textures, nothing else. I can also pointy to that other file you linked to or both these files really, which is up to me to include or not. I did not change the normals and I do not know where I got mine from but from a DL for sure. Which one? I DLed so much face stuff, it is impossible to say. I do guess it is the original really. Pellape
6 faces, 4 female and 2 male ones released. Updated today for Fallout 3, but also feel free to test it in FNV. I will test it later myself, not now as I play F3 for the moment.
