nexbil01
out of curiosity, what type of mod is the RSE brothel mod? settlement mod? new lands? characters? It might give me some ideas as to what mod might be causing the issue.

It might give me some ideas as to what mod might be causing the issue. Its adult and since its not from Nexus I dont think Vortex will characterize it. But in its nature it is a settlement mod I guess. Many people even the normally adventurous loverlab crowd are hesitant to use it now, since its flaw is well understood, BUT again that patch does exist. The patch howevr is not as well known as the mod and many people dont know the patch exists. this is the mod: https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/9773-aaf-rse-ii-brothels-prostitution-011020/ It also has a esm that needs to be installed first RSE II esm file: https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/9023-aaf-rse-ii-framework-resources-esm-011020/ The RSE II group of mods is actually quite versatile and powerful. I have used it a little bit when I started out , but then it had already fallen out of favor for this one brothel mods issues reason. Again I do belive the patch works and is legit. It is made by EvilPanda one of the many god tier modders on here, creator quite a few highly technical mods. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/58969?tab=files
Valyn81
hello @nexbil01, I can assure you that the game does not have a hard limit. my longest game with over 100+ days. i think about 135+ mods. But i did find that crashing/freezing/endless loading would happen and could totally fubar a save on anything that spawns NPC outside of the max view range and if there was a script in a mod that causes bloat. 1.) For the first example vertical spawns and WoTC. I had usually did the cell reset time by going to 'Sanctuary' and then enter the cellar/bunker that was behind one of the houses. Save and then rest for whatever you have set you cell rest timers too. I think it was Cells reset 35 days and Cleared cells reset 80 days but i only play on Survival mode and had mods that change that setting in my game so i don't really remember. 2.) For the second i had mods that added npc changes to include some of the new gear and cosmetics and it would cause freezing. check you mods and see which ones use F4SE (Script extender). I also used a save tool that could stop scripts; but, it can be buggy so please do your research and make backup saves just in case.
Valyn81
If you check my playtime it only shows 1600+ hours but i can assure you i have done way more than that with mods wher i needed to move the entire game to an alternate directory in order to not have steam auto update my game and break my mods. Also i do not use Nexus mod manager/vortex i used Mod Organizer 2 to manage my mods
nexbil01
well it's good to know that other people have played much longer and don't have issues. I myself have about 4400 hours total played but my savegames have mostly been around the 50 day mark. I have used FO4 to make videos for the past 3 years using various mods for the video process. Whenever I finished a video I would return to one of my 50 day saves and start a new video using different mods. Some of these mods were new equipment, new face models, new lands, etc. Some mods were probably more on the beta side and should have taken more time to mature before being released. But I think that's something that everyone that uses mods has to beware of. I suspect it does have to do something with one of these sketchy mods. Then of course next-gen came along and who knows how that may have interacted with some of the mods. Now I have to figure out who is the culprit mod and whether removing it may fix the problem or if it's irrecoverable.

Oh, so you are on .984? have you tried going back to .163 and see if it solves your issue?
nexbil01
that's probably the next step after I finish this test. I rolled back to a 50 day save and I am working my way back to 62 to see if it replicates the error.
