rules on old Fallout assets?

What's the policy here on mods that use assets from Fallout 1, 2, etc? Sound effects, loading screens, that sort of thing. Wanted to check before I upload anything.

Sorry if this is a dumb/common question. I did try searching first.

It's a copyright violation. You can't use them.

You can use the music because it's included in the game, you can find it at Data\Music\Fallout1and2 but as said, the rest of it isn't free to use.
