dedmoin2
I didn't use Vortex for quite some time (maybe one year) started it again and got a couple of errors, warnings, ... So I downloaded and installed the newest version of Vortex. Everything worked fine but whenever I start Vortex the whole application flickers whenever something has to be updated on screen, sometimes not refeshing the whole screen but turn same parts black. I have updated graphics drivers and restarted my computer but it didn't resolve the problem. No other application or game has any issues it is just Vortex that freaks out. I am on Windows
dedmoin2
All games I am adding are said to be 'not found' but when the file browser opens to select the game folder it is automatically in the right directory and I just have to click 'select folder'. Then it tells me the folder seems to be Steam library (correct) and I have to select the launching app with Steam being pre-selected and I have to just confirm the selection because it is correct anyways. Why do I have to select and confirm things Vortex has figured out itself?
Solution dedmoin2 Posted December 29, 2024 Author Solution Share Posted December 29, 2024 disabling GPU acceleration in Vortex seems to fix the issue. I found some posts from May about this issue and it is still not fixed...
showler
It's not fixed because it's not Vortex causing the issue. Vortex is built on other apps that it relies on, if they have a problem then Vortex has that problem.
