TripleBork
A mod I'm using requires me to rename a folder to get it to work properly, but when I rename it in file explorer, Vortex tells me that files were changed outside of Vortex. My options are to revert the changes, which changes the name of the folder back, or to save the changes and delete every single file in the folder? Maybe I'm misunderstanding? Is there a way to make changes outside of Vortex and have them stick without Vortex deleting things?
showler
Where are you changing it? In the game folder or the deployment folder?
TripleBork
Game folder.
Solution showler Posted January 28 Solution Share Posted January 28 Try changing it in the deployment folder if you can and then redeploy. That should skip the "changes outside Vortex" issue.
TripleBork
Unfortunately the folder is not in the deployment folder, it's in the base game folder inside data/meshes. Edit: Nvm I'm stupid, I see it now. Edited January 28 by TripleBork
