"Prioritising the bits of feedback that are more useful to help us improve things." Sounds a hell of allot like a reworded. "Tell us what we want to hear." Yall think we are stupid don't ya? Jokes on you my vocab is bigger than the average smuck. The hypocrisy is fun to call out.

While I'm not at all fond of the update, this is entirely disingenuous. They're prioritizing actionable, specific feedback over generic feedback. Even if it's things they won't actually change, the specific details in the posts they've been collating into these separate threads are useful information for them to have better access to rather than leaving it buried in a nearly two hundred page thread that is otherwise full of a lot of the same information repeated ad nauseam.

Unfortunately it appears it is only available for Chrome and I refuse to use that browser on a manner of principle, so I guess I'm out of luck.

No, it's available for firefox as well.

What they say and what they do are two totally different things.

They have been making changes, especially when people point out specific issues with the new UI. They're not going to revert the change. While I wish they would, that isn't on the table. So instead they're leaving this thread as a dumping ground for feedback like that and pulling feedback they can use to improve (or at least assess) the UI we're stuck with out of this thread and organizing it elsewhere.

Edit: If I wanted to be misinterpreted this badly I'd be making an account on Twitter rather than posting on Nexusmods. This response (and the rest of the conversation) are exactly what I meant when I said the discussion was disingenuous earlier. You guys are giving 2015 Tumblr a run for its money with how you moved the goalposts (and changed topic) so often that you left the soccer stadium and settled down in the hockey rink next door.

Here is my take on pilonexyz's design, since I don't mind the mod browser as long as the rows are single colum and vertical instead of horizontal but I liked the changes to the mod pages themselves.

I don't have no fancy place to host the file so here is the style.

What changes have they made to this awful new UI that people actually asked for?  It looks and feels just as bad to me now as it did the day it launched.

You should use a spoiler tag or something at least.

Mostly fixes and minor tweaks. A lot of the adjustments have been to reduce the performance impact by cutting out FX like drop-shadows and blurs. That's generally going to be what we'll see in the short term, is stability improvements and bufixes.

The original UI had none of these problems.

Uh I can't access the opera version for stylus with that link you provided, is there no way we can get an easy option to just turn back? I just want the look I was used to because It was just better.

Unlike the search function here on Nexus, Google search works just fine. Just search for whatever you wish to find, in this case 'stylus for Opera', and press the enter key: https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/privacy_policy/27c0f4146c879f67a91b70f93f4eee4a01846fdd/
