363rdChemicalCompany
I found a legendary Katana on a fallen enemy (Mirelurk I think). I find it quite effective after the only blade upgrade it offers, on a STR 10 Character with 3 ranks of Big Leagues. Its a lot of fun but I dont think Katana's are Vanilla are they? Here are some pics:
subaverage
From the pictures it could be this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/49845? It seems that it is injected into enemy inventories.

Maybe But I dont have this mod in my download list ( though maybe I should it looks just as good) Also I dont see any mods in in Vortex profile with the name katana in it. So I figure it might have bene part of some kind of pack.. But I am unware of any such in my Vortex profile. Odd. its not Vanilla is it?

AndalayBay
You can find out by opening the CK. Just double-click on each mod you want to load and don't make any of them active. Once they finish loading, select Edit - Find Text and type in the object you're looking for. In this case, the only Katana in the base game, DLCs and CC content is a cat. If you install Better Console, it will tell you which mod it's from if you click on the sword while the console is open.

Maybe Better Console is my best bet then. I do not have or use CK (yet).
