kktyr45
can anyone possibly help, this bug happened to me after skinning a Chaorus with the Hunterborn mod, i think it may also be an issue involving Improved Camera SE as its a mod that allows you to see your body in first person but i think something bugged with Hunterborn, i can walk around and the camera follows but i cant look up or down, i tried a few sepperate recommendations including a few console commands and nothing, other than being stuck on the floor and not being able to look up and down i only noticed my body looked like a ghost but i think that was Hunterborn aswell Edit; i somehow managed to fix it by walking into a certain piece of terrain Edited February 15 by kktyr45
anjenthedog
Ima take a wild stab, presuming Improved Camera isn't glitching (which it does do sometimes) the message >> "you are carrying too much to run" << gives me a clue that (might) lead to a simple solution (especially if you're playing in survival mode where mods are way more strict about how you must play the game, and more harsh in the penalties if you break "TheRules(tm)" 1) dump inventory to "acceptable" values if you don't believe in cheats 2) presuming cheats aren't an insult to your raison d'etre open console mod (click ~ ), then enter player.modav carryweight 40000 this will pad your game-issued carryweight with enough lift to ~guarantee that message will go away, and likely resolve the camera issue, ie, you being forced into 1st person mode AND being pressed to the ground by carrying way too much weight (according to strictly following game rules) ok, so adding 20 tons might offend you, even though "you're ok with *some minor cheats", so choose a value slightly over what you have in inventory anyway, if you're a survivalist stickler and just need a temporary solution... to undo it later, just issue player.modav carryweight -40000 (or whatever value you added to yours) 3) alternatively, there are several mods that grant you the "magical" ability to carry excessive weight, ex: Carry Weight Modifier https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2176 Extended Carryweight https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1087 Ring of Boost Carry Weight Maximum plus 10000 SE https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/74996 or any one of many "bag of holding" mods available here on Nexus, that offer a method to hide weight from the engine or Bag of Trash https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/19458, which will act as a carryable, low-bid purchaser of crap if you are a serial looter/horder (like me and many others)... I mean there are really only so many ancient nord swords a person can put in your garage or basement, you know? How many jewels do you really need? Do you really need all of those 843 scoops of troll fat, or 53 deer hides and hundreds of wolf hides? And why in the world are you carrying 97 dragon bones? ... get the pic? If you're a serial carrier of every herb, veggy, and fruit you obsessively pick along the way (I've had as much as 400 weight units of garlic alone), Weightless Ingredients (mods.. many of them) might help. As homework, find that one using either the Nexus search bar, or using mod categories

As homework, find that one using either the Nexus search bar, or using mod categories carry weight wasnt an issue besides i was able to put enough on companions to be able to move, dont think it had to do with carry weight though but dont know, even after clearing my inventory it still happened but strangely enough walking over a small sort of hill or pile of dirt fixed it oddly enough
anjenthedog
Well, it is *one way for that to happen ime. anyway sorry for the blather then. Ok, so maybe just an improved camera glitch. they *can be very annoying from time to time. I've gotten stuck when it forces me into 1st person before, sometimes mispositioning the camera too. Can't remember off hand, but I think there might be an unstuck button or spell (or maybe I'm mixing it up with another mod) idk... did you try making a save then reloading? Sometimes stuff like that self-resolves on a reload. sometimes it even needs the game to be rebooted. Sometimes neither fix them. Skyrim glitches are a game in itself. Check the hunterborn or hunterborn-associated mod pages for any /bugs/glitches/patches etc... ?
greyday01
Possibly using a piece of furniture like a chair or bed where your position changes might jolt the camera back where it belongs.
Karna5
A couple of play throughs ago I had that problem, and after struggling with it trying tons of stuff over several restarts and tweaks, I was able to fix the issue by going into racemenu and changing my hairstyle. If you're stuck and at a loss for anything to try, I'd suggest giving that a shot.
