Depends on how you set up bodyslide, but it shouldn't.  Vortex will only purge files it deployed.

i just build them and they go to data/meshes (talking about skyrim for example) they dont go to a different place than the main folder of the game. The thing is that if a mod adds those bodyslide files already and i override them by building them in bodyslide coz the mod give be such options (like himbo for example, that cames with a base body but it have more options if u want a different body style), do purge and deploy override what i built with the original body files that comes with the mod?

In that case Vortex should be warning you that the files in the data directory have been modified outside of Vortex's control.  That warning should come before the purge is done and give you the chance to either keep the changed files or revert to what's in the staging folder (the files that came with your mods).

That's why I set up bodyslide to output the files to the staging folder as a new mod so that I can make it override everything else.

tyvm for the answer, im used to do the build straight to the data folder coz when i was beginning in the modding world i had no idea that was possible xD and after doing that so many years i just didnt change the method but yeah, in some point i should do what u do. ty again for answering fella.
