Would love a way to go back to the old UI, even if it never gets updated with new features.

When i use "all mods" on mobile, its much harder to scroll through mods and find good ones. There is much less information fitting the screen, i have to scroll allot which is very tiering. I think new ui is goof, but ux is horrible. I think i will have to find some css third-party solution to use nexus.

Chiming in.  The new UI is hideous.  I don't subscribe often, so maybe my opinion doesn't matter much, but I will NOT resubscribe while the site looks like this.

Change is change and will come for whatever reasons given by the dev team.

But...

Changes lately are always in the realm of less usability.

Specifically:

Why isn't the Popular media section sorted by most popular?

Why does it default to "All Time"? Which is sorted by most popular.

What does "Trending" mean?

Who really wants to be "Surprised"?

And so on.

My disgruntled side is demanding for this now. Please stop following everyones black/white monotone nonsense for themes. You guys had a great thing going for it.. And now it is ruined. It might be just an eyesight issue, but everything looks like a gray mishmash for me now on this site.

The new UI is just utter dogshit, yes. I don't care if I'm going to get warned/etc over my language, I'll say how it is. I generally don't like Nexus for a variety of reasons, but all of those I can still throw aside considering the fact it is was the best platform for mods still. Now though? It's barely usable. The new UI is sluggish as all hell and looks like it was designed for mobile phones, which makes sense since obviously we're all playing our modded games on iSlops and such.

I don't get why this UI change was necessary. Updating the back-end for technical reasons? Sure, but why change the UI too? You obviously could've copied the old UI nigh 1:1 and there wouldn't have been any issue, but instead some genius wannabe designer thought it's a great idea to just copy the go-to, ugly modern UI slop you see on literally every goddamn website and program now. The issue isn't even "oh, like on 1440p and 4k the thumbnails/etc look too small" or something, as you can easily zoom in/out for that sort of stuff. I've been using YT at 65% now for years at this point, because of how awful it looks otherwise. It's outright unusable at 100% zoom on a 1080p screen, you have to zoom out if you want a usable feed to look at. I know this comment will not be taken seriously by anyone that's part of the staff, but I still hope that down the line there will at least be some improvements to the new, awful UI. At least make it run better and be less sluggish. New mod search, the page, loads like.. 2-3 slower than it used to. Even with better speeds, I get around 30mbit/s max, it's continuing being sluggish. Are you telling me my old i7 from 2013 can't even browse a simple web page anymore?
