Mods show up as opted out, but they're opted in

As in the topic

All my mods show up as opted out, at the very top of the mod page and in the "Permissions and credits" tab, but when I enter the 'opted in' mods through wallet or simply press "opt in" they're all opted in. So are they opted in or not? I have absolutely no idea what is happening - and funny enough; at the end of the month.

Hello.

I had something similar happen to me, but the difference is I actually had to go through and manually opt back in all of the mods which had been kicked to opted-out status. I noticed it around twelve hours ago and immediately sent a message to one of the community managers. My personal suspicion was that it was possibly due to a maintenance update on the 25th. Whatever the cause may actually be, I just received a response back from Pickysaurus:

The indicator at the top of your mod page has recently broken. We were only made aware of this late last night.

Please ignore this indicator and use the "Opt in your mods" page as the source of truth. 

So it looks like this page is the only one to be trusted at the present time.

Thank you for you answer, since the time is very valuable in this case, and again; since it's the end of the month, I've also reached to Nexus Staff via discord, and was informed as well, that the wallet page is the only place where the information are valid. I'd rather not touch or opt out/in my mods manualy and play around now, since I'm sure they were opted in before and so are now, all of them, in the link you've shared.

I just hope it won't have any impact on DP distribution, since it's almost april, and it affects all of the mods

Same. I just finished going through all my mods and opted them back in thinking that the new site design opted them all out, or something. Good to know they weren't, after all.

I know what you mean.

My own DP is reserved for sorely needed computer maintenance (my current one is over fourteen years old), so I like to keep a close eye on what's happening.

Maybe I should have held off on opting them back in, but I had a short window of time to stay and was running on adrenaline. Hopefully that's not held against me (or the DP amount).

Lollia is correct; the page they linked is the "source of truth". Unfortunately, the text on the mod page side is quite flaky and has a habit of showing the wrong data. I've raised an issue internally to get this investigated.

Yeah, exactly.

I spend my money mostly on everyday expenses and it's really cool to be able to gain some money from mods for a better equipment to do so
I will not touch any of my mods, as I have not so far, and won't "opt them in" just to have the mod-pages display the correct message, since they're opted in in the wallet already and I don't want to break anything. Unfortunately lately Nexus is a bit unstable, probably due to the new design update. But since DP topic is often very delicate... again, I just hope nothing will break and points will be distributed properly

So I just spent more hours than I care to admit updating two mods, and everything went fine. All settings normal, I wrote the changelogs, updated articles, the whole shebang. Now everything is gone. Mods declare I'm opted-out, changelogs (such lengthy creatures they were, too!) are missing, and the only solace I have to know I have not lost my mind entirely is that the newest mod file is at least where it should be. What is going on!? There have never been so many anomalies before! This is really nerve-racking.
