Search Hide banned users from the users search results

It's probably a no brainer and already suggested, but I only skimmed. Reason why hiding banned people is an obvious improvement is in the spoiler.

I understand the logic, and it might be something we will consider.

With 65 million registered accounts, basically everything abusive etc is a registered account name.

If a prolific user is banned should it still be possible to find them on the site?

Is it too difficult to make a separate category for "banned due to inappropriate username"?

That's really the only thing that's an issue here and those accounts rarely last long enough to even post a single thing on the site.

This is good feedback. There's a number of options to clean up the username search.
