this load error is not like one i've ever expirienced before. i was looking through the morrowind technical surrport and it told me to make the game run faster, i should go into the morrowind.ini file and change max fps=60 line to =50. so i do that right, and i try to load morrowind and i get this error message (see below). next time i go into the morrowind start screen (the one with datafiles) i check the options box, under screen size, no sizes (also see below) could anyone tell me how to fix this or tell me how to read the "error log."

i know, i don't know how to fix it. pic 1 was a picture of an error message saying. "morrowind.exe has experienced errors and will be closed by windows. and error log has been created"

pic 2 explains itself. please help me

Without seeing the pictures it would be difficult to provide advice.

Can you copy and past the text of the error log?

Have you tried undoing the changes to your Morrowind.ini? Did you make a backup before changing it?

i fixed the morrowind.ini file, back to normal now, i don't know where the error log is, that's what i need help with. i'm quiet sure the problems with the load screen, if theres no screen size, how does morrowind know what to load?

why does that appear as a download, well please download it anyway so you can see

no warning.txt file in my morrowin folder. and how do i update my display driver

PS: i have already tried re-installing morrowind, no luck

Find out what video card you have, and check the manufacturer's website for updated drivers.

If you can't find warnings.txt in your Morrowind folder, try letting your computer search for it.

Simple enough. Copy and paste the name of your video card in the almighty google, along with the word "driver", and do a search.

I just did so, the first link there requires you to register, if you want to avoid doing that just look at all the links and see if you can find one that doesn't require you to register.

You should always keep your drivers updated. Makes games work faster ;)
