t3hf4ll0ut
I never really noticed how fast the premium servers were. I only buy premium to basically donate. But I noticed I downloaded Marts Mutant Mod in under a minute. So bravo LHammonds, Dark0ne, and Buddah. Thanks for providing such a package for only $4.
AncientSpaceAeon
What !?! Only $4, I was thinking about $10 or $15 or more. Really need to think about being premium member.
t3hf4ll0ut
Yep, $4 USD a month.
AncientSpaceAeon
There's even a lifetime membership for $39 or so. Even I can't imagine myself playing Oblivion or Fallout 3 (didn't have Fo3 yet) for a lifetime.
Dark0ne
I'm glad you liked the server, it's there for premium member use only so most people in the US can download as fast as they want, and people in the EU can hit max speeds if they use a simple download manager. Alkser
Sorry for going off-topic but i dun understand normal servers:All member servers are capped at 150 kb/s What does that mean?
Dark0ne
It means you can only download at 150kb/sec (or less). That means that at top speed on normal servers you can download a 100mb file in 11.1 minutes. However premium members are not capped at 150kb/sec and can download pretty much as fast as their connection allows. So a user with 20mbit internet can download a 100mb file in roughly 50 seconds. Alkser
Thanks for the quick reply Dark0ne, and tbh my net can't even download 50kb/s :P
AncientSpaceAeon
Is this 150kb/sec or 150 KB/sec. It's different you know. kb means kilobit, KB means kilobyte. They are a big difference. I think it's capped 150 KB/sec, not 150kb/sec.
t3hf4ll0ut
Didn't know that's how it worked. In that case, I'm getting 2.50MB/sec.
