What mods to install?

I personally didn't care for the cloak mod ( http://www.rpgplanet.com/morrowind/mods/motw1.asp ) but it is a very popular mod...

Same for GIANTS... I started to install it, but chickened out when it wanted to over-write some files and wasn't sure if I wanted to do that. Nevertheless, GIANTS is a hugely (no pun intended) popular mod.

There's another plug-in that I really like, but I can't call the name to mind... it re-textures rings in the game so they LOOK like rings... it's a tiny little make-over, I know, but the modder did a REALLY nice job with it.

As for hair and face mods, get "Rhedd's Heads" ( http://home.wnm.net/~bgriff/MW_Home.html ) for starters, but Switch is right, the Astaris plug-in is mighty fine as well.

o well this was a waste, i cant even get the freaking patches installed. bot the 1.6 and 1.7 patches freeze at 33% ( morrowind.bsa )

anyone got a clue???

how long did u let the patches run? they DO freeze so do most auto-patch programs that u download, but that doesnt mean theyve stopped working. quite often a patch program will freeze at say 60%, go non-responsive, then all of a sudden recover and be at 100%

so basically if it freezes up/goes non-responsive, still give it another half hour b4 u give up on it completely :P
