NudieZippo
I don't know if anyone listens to the norwegian rock band H.I.M (His Infernal Majesty) but if so, I'd like to know what other people thought of their new single.
Slaiv
Love 'em. Hate the posers who wear H.I.M. apparel just because Bam wears it. Now that you mention it, I hate all the posers that wear Bam stuff, but don't skate or know anything about him. Anyway, I've only heard bits and pieces of it, but it's looking to be good. I'm going to get the limited edition Dark Light release as well. And to anyone who hasn't heard them - if you like semi-gothic, melodic rock, or industrial, check 'em out. Actually, do it anyways. Slaiv
Just a quick update - you can now check out their newest single "Behind the Crimson Door" at: http://www.myspace.com/heartagram
Dark0ne
Just saw the video to Wings of a Butterfly and it the lead singer, as well as the music itself bears a stricking resemblence to The Rasmus. I think most people would agree that's a bad thing. To that track just sounds tame and boring. If it's not heavy metal it's atleast got to have something in it -- a reason why I like My Chemical Romance, for instance, despite it not normally being my thing. The band manage to mix in unique and contemporary beats to make it different from the myriad of "same-old" music out at the moment. If you want to get in on "The next big thing" before most others I'd recommend getting the advance album from Bullet for My Valentine, either off Ebay or -- other means. These guys are going to be huge. Their album is meant to come out the beginning of next month.
