After installing version 0.47.3 I was wondering why it wasn't automatically checking for updates until I read this thread... Afterwards I fired it up and clicked the update button... I think that was the fastest that I've seen it scan and download updated versions of my collection (and I have 130+ mods running) 0.o keep up the good work guys it's been slowly making progress but it's getting there ^_^

So, I'm stuck on 0.45.7 of NMM. I've tried installing the newer version (0.47.3) but to no avail. I managed to download it but clicking on it, running it as administrator, ect. doesn't work and I'm beginning to lose hope. This wouldn't be an issue if I could just get my current version of NMM (0.45.7) to reach the Nexus login server. If I could get any help it'd be much appreciated!

... if I could just get my current version of NMM (0.45.7) to reach the Nexus login server.

All previous versions of NMM are deliberately blocked from reaching the servers due to the problems for the entire environment they were causing. Something is going on on your machine.

There is literally no way that a valid download of NMM 0.47.3 will fail to install unless you have settings on your rig that prevent it.

My guess would be that either you have a corrupted download, (you can check by looking at the Properties of the downloaded file. Should be: Nexus Mod Manager-0.47.3.exe, size: 4,149,856 bytes, Digital Signature: Blacktree Gaming, Ltd., SHA1, ‎Tuesday, ‎February ‎11, ‎2014, 7:35 am.) Or there's something unusual about the install location you've selected and the permissions to write to it.
